I think "fluid" was the word you were looking for-- not liquid.

Also, about the backwards music, I was *wondering* why the trailer music wasn't all that gripping until now. I suppose their focus was more on that easter egg than the quality...not that it was bad or anything, but they usually put better music than THAT up for the first peek into the Zelda games. I don't think it'll be MAJORLY significant, since they seem to dislike linking Zelda storylines together too obviously, but we'll see.

But the CoD shit and saying she should play "real video games" is extremely redundant because I'd play Zelda over Portal 2 any day. Especially over CoD. Oh, and PC reigns supreme over consoles, you should try playing Portal 2 on there :). tl;dr Zelda > CoD.

Hmmm... I dunno what to think about the hidden music, I can't image people routinely play things backwards (maybe they do?) so if they didn't really intend for people to hear it it could have been laziness to get a Zelda sound with minimal effort... I'd be a bit annoyed if the music for the new game does things like taking old music and playing it backwards, SMG1&2 got their own orchestra and new music, I don't see why Zelda can't have a similar effort...

I don't know if "having my heart in my throat" is an appropriate reaction to hearing the backwards song, but all I know is, once I heard it and kept hearing it, it was like suddenly the trailer (albeit backwards) took on this whole new, yet familiar, meaning. It was freakin insane. I felt like a child again.
