  • Second shot was awesome , great video. I hope you mounted him.

  • Yes, I see that it is the same Bull moose...after watching the video agian..

I think too, that first shoot hit him hard and it would not have been long and he would have been down...

GREAT looking country...where we hunt moose, OFTEN the big bull are found in these white/black poplar stands also. This last season though ALL 3 bulls we shot we NICE easy packs...2 right on the road...

    Great video once again

    ANd thank-you for sharing

    Cheers to all

  • Was that the same Bull you shot at earlier in the Video...??

  • Yes it is the same bull, the brush is very heavy there and the second shot was hard to get! the cow (domestic) was making it difficult . To the right of us up hill 80-100 yards is the very top of a two to three thousand foot mountain. Along way up and I didn't want him going down the other side.

  • Thats a good Utah Bull. Congrats.

  • awesome vid!! good bull

  • nice moose guys

  • well done guys!! awesome hunt...

  • well done what calibre and grain bullet

  • He was taken with a 154 gr. hornady spirepoint in a 7mm mag Browning stainless stalker, the first shot killed him. We were 4.6 miles back in and the second shot was to keep it from being further away by him running down or rolling down the mountain. There was debate over taking the338 BAR Browning 200 gr. But the 7 did the trick! No regrets!
