You know, when I meet/talk to people world wide and we talk about Soccer, I tell them to watch the two escobars to show what makes Colombia stand out in soccer compared to their own. There will always be Colombian soccer that no other country will ever have.
The fact they called Escobar the most iconic player in Colombian football is one reason. Another is the stock footage they use. The Higuita save for instance happened in 1995. Their knowledge of football in my opinion was at best limited. I still like the documentary though.
Argentina got to the world cup too, but they had to play against Australia and beat them in order to qualify and just recently Maradona admitted that Argentina cheated by drinking a substance in order to have more endurance.
gods of the soccer field.

columbia was simply an amzaing soccer team, its sad tht fans and drug lords had to destroy what could have been the best socccer team for awhile.

This is a truly fantastic documentary but one thing I will say is the guys who made it know nothing about football.
