I love this film, but for some odd reason I find Hard Boiled to be more entertaining (it was more "fun" and less dark and weighty than The Killer) even though the Killer was a deeper and richer film
this movie is so damn good, sooo damn good, i watched this at a young age and it has stayed with me as a plateu of Woo/ Japanese action films that has never been topped, also it double as a comedy, as I recently found out with some cranky subtitle-cacklers - the english dub is absolutely hilarious. Me and my friend quoted that dub over and over :D GOLD
i love this film. john woo and chow yun-fat never topped it. the dedication of some of those stunt guys, throwing themselves from huge heights when there's blatantly no crash-mats below. and that guy who landed on the pew! i mean damn that must've hurt!

This is John Woo's Masterpiece. He will never top this film. One of the greatest shoot-outs ever filmed and one of the greatest action movies ever made--period. One of my favorite movies.
The Killer and Hard Boiled makes T2 and Die Hard look like movies for kids.

One of the best shootouts ever in history, and in a very deep, very sad movie. John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat deserve an Oscar award for this film.
