@SMJeOma i can say that russia and the usa are most likely never going to fight each other now since were workin on a partnership. Far as germany there are allies so thats never going to happen ither. But nowdays our f-16Cs are upgraded and pilots have the jmhd's , tops the aim 9X wich has vectord thrust , so the f-16 pilot wouldn't have much of a problem shooting down a fully trained mig 29 pilot due to the avionics.
@SMJeOma well in that case we have the f-18F superhornet , its very maneuverable with out thrust vectoring , stealth features like the air intakes and so on and the aesa radar , plus the JHMD.
@jc005e remember, the mig 29 has better vertical manueverability along with the TVC exhausts, so don't get too cocky in a f-16, remember, the F-16 can't play a main interceptor role. you can say that the f-18 can be a challence, but the f-16 is not a mid size dogfighter!!!

@TiGroKe Well I guess. Germany got rid of them and all the former european communist countries such as Poland, Bulgaria or Hungary are doing the same (see the polish F-16). I think we'll be able to see them flying only in Russia (in particular the OVT version), Belarus and Ukraine. I'm not sure of all of this because it's been quite a while I didn't keep up to date on the european aeronautics.

There's no doubt the Mig-29 is a formidable aircraft. However, it's limiting factor has always been its weight. It is obvious from the flight characteristics it exhibits on this video.
Don't be a foul: the MiG was designed 30 years before the Raptor so don't try to compare them. Try it with newer russian fighters like MiG-35 and Su-37.
that's not true the mig 29 was designed in the mid 70s and the raptor was designed in the late 80s. Infact the Raptor was created specifically to defeat advanced versions of the Mig-29- Su 27.

@edcrabb I'm English, and I can tell you that both the F-15 and F/A-18 outclass the MiG-29! Even the F-16 (which isn't as advanced as either the F-15 or F/A-18) has a slight 'edge' on the MiG-29! An Su-27, however, would make a USAF pilot sh*t himself if he caught site of one!

MIG 29 is one of the finest fighters ever built, and no pilot in any jet wants to come within the 30-60 deg nose cone view of the Mig 29: there is no escape in that zone. its one of the most agile (if not the most) and manuevrable fighters ever built. of course as is the case with any jet, you need an experienced pilot to go along and fully utilize it to its potential.

If you guys have never seen a jet use it's afterburners in person you have no idea. It is beyond loud. We have a few F-16s at our base and every time they punch it car alarms go off. And that's just one engine, image this things. I work on A-10's lol they sounds like jet liners haha. Great video, I think this plane looks just as good if not better than the F-15.

@DSetekh Actually, the F15 has shot down 9 Mig29's to date. The F15 is nearly 40 years old and it has never been shot down in air to air combat. Almost all the Mig29s were shot down BVR. @rulezz123 Out of the 9 MiG29s shot down by F15s, 8 of them were BVR kills. This demonstrates that the F15 has superior RADAR, avionics and missiles. The F15s weapon systems are so good that single F15c flying CAP over Bosnia shot down 2 MiG29s simultaneously with AMRAAM missiles. This is something the MiG29 is not capable of doing. The one time a MiG29 got into a turning dog fight with an F15, the MiG29 was not able to out class the F15 and ended up with the F15 on its tail.

MiG-29 is an excellent fighter. The problem is, most of its users are 3rd World monkeys more used to magic carpets than airplanes. Of course it fared poorly in combat in the hands of those monkeys.

As far as as the F-15s combat record goes, that is mainly like pointed out before because the USA attacks/invades/terrorizes third world countries mainly for resource exploitation(s).

If you guys have never seen a jet use it's afterburners in person you have no idea. It is beyond loud. We have a few F-16s at our base and every time they punch it car alarms go off. And that's just one engine, image this things. I work on A-10's lol they sounds like jet liners haha. Great video, I think this plane looks just as good if not better than the F-15.

@DSetekh Actually, the F15 has shot down 9 Mig29's to date. The F15 is nearly 40 years old and it has never been shot down in air to air combat. Almost all the Mig29s were shot down BVR. An F15 did get into a turning dogfight with Mig29 in Iraq and the F15 managed to get behing the MiG. watch?v=44oaapoAqPU

@rulezz123 Out of the 9 MiG29s shot down by F15s, 8 of them were BVR kills. This demonstrates that the F15 has superior RADAR, avionics and missiles. The F15s weapon systems are so good that single F15c flying CAP over Bosnia shot down 2 MiG29s simultaneously with AMRAAM missiles. This is something the MiG29 is not capable of doing. The one time a MiG29 got into a turning dog fight with an F15, the MiG29 was not able to out class the F15 and ended up with the F15 on its tail.

MiG-29 is an excellent fighter. The problem is, most of its users are 3rd World monkeys more used to magic carpets than airplanes. Of course it fared poorly in combat in the hands of those monkeys.

I agree very nice demo. Much better than all the back flips and slow speed stuff that gets all the attention. This was nice, raw, high G power. Who cares if its a MIG, F-22, SU, F-15. If its got burners, goes supersonic, makes noise and pulls G's I like it. I'd watch this all day long if I could!!

Yep, I'm tired of the SU VS F-22 VS Mig business. Back flips are cool to a point, but there comes a time when ya just need to fly the damn plane and use the burners!!! I don't care what country its from, the louder the better. G's, vapor and speed. Gimme, gimme!! I love this stuff!

you are clearly undereducated, uninformed or probably both. First of all, the Su-37 did not exists during desert storm and whilst it did exists during iraqi 'freedom" there has only been two of them built and are wholly owned by Sukhoi. Having said that, the F-15 holds that record because the USA always picks on third world countries who purchase 2nd or 3rd grade export equipment and whose crews are trained worse than an Ethiopian bush-hunter.

As far as as the F-15s combat record goes, that is mainly like pointed out before because the USA attacks/invades/terrorizes third world countries mainly for resource exploitation(s).
The USAF always outnumbers those poorly equipped and trained third world countries by a factor of 100. When the USA takes goes head to head against countries like China and Russia and then manages to maintain the 0 loss to enemy fire F-15 record then you would have an argument. Until then its a joke.
