  • oh you still here WOW

this video is 2 years ago

  • THat is very cool I am learning it now :)

BTW what is your staff made of?

  • oak wood! greets

  • i taught myself the halo spin (but i jsut called it a modded back spin because i figured i could get more spinning done that way without bringing the staff forward) also seeing how you do back spins raises the question- "How the fuck??"- because it looks like your wrist twists 2-3 times in its socket before passing off the staff to the next hand, i spin the staff as far as i can and then either spin it between my fingers until it can be passed off or wrist spin it again but i always wrist spinit

  • yeah I do it slightly differently, so that there's a extra spin at my back

  • holy crap dude u r like a freaking beast iv watched ur vids and uv helped me alot hope u make some more vids

  • Excellent stuff Tains... Advanced stuff for me here... will be stuck on this video for a while i'm sure... Cheers.

  • Thanks for all the great video. I learned alot from you.. but, I still have problem with the foot work.. especially the 360 from front to back and back to front ..

  • whens ur next tutorial dude?

  • slick. where do you train?

  • Thank you for taking your time to make these vids and share your talents with the world. I am a fire spinner also, and just got back to spinning after a years break. I just needed a refresher... watching your hand movements brought it all back. Hopefully I'll make some vids here soon too... with the fire staff.

  • well then

welcome back and hope to see some vids soon!

  • Love your work .. Smooth Smooth .. Im a fire twirling .. learning from your vidz rather than fire twirling vids .. you have the fundamentals down very well :)

  • wow good to hear! Its rare to see fire twirlers at my vids. Too bad you dont have video's on your own :P

  • Good work man but way too much text in this vid.

  • Yeah sorry mate.

I just had a lot to say

  • nice. keep the tutorials up.

  • excellent, thank you for posting...

Every time I think I'm getting good I catch another of your vids and realise I've got a long, long way to go....

great tutorials, very well explained and demonstrated.

  • you must really like daft punk.

  • Excellent my friend, continue training and posting videos!

  • Thats really a great video, thank you very much for sharing you skills. 5 stars

  • exellent!

  • :) i kno how to add fluidity to a change from vertical to horizontal. if u can understand this. (dont have a cam so .. here it is )ok you go into a one handed figure eight. got it so far? now if u notice on each side one end of the staff appear twice, so u see exactly 4 in one figure eight. easy enough now here comes the hard part. pick out your dominant hand and allow one more end to pass, 3 u will notice u cannot make another figure 8 becuase the staff is going on the inside of your arm

  • so it is on the inside of your arm almost, going up.when it starts to pass ur calph get ready. now it is a hip level. immediately bring your arm quickly to the other side of your body and up. it should be a fluid movement. if i can i will make a video. if you do not get it from the explination just comment back again and i will try to make a vid

  • Well there are millions of ways to do it. Try to make a vid though because I dont know if I know exactly what you mean.

  • Alright so I just got done practicing your Eight Winged Dragon technique. To all the others that are having trouble and reading this comment, I found that it is easiest to remember to just turn 90 degrees whenever a reverse or a front figure 8 comes from the double dragon. This means when the stick is about horizontal from the double dragon to start turning with it at the same time as displayed in the video. Thanks for the tutorial LordTains those moves are way too badass, nice work on making.

  • Very nice tutorial. I love all of the moves in here. 2 Tutorials in one day, I have a lot of practice to do hehe. Thank you again LordTains your videos are always amazing

  • haha yeah I've uploaded four videos today, and I was so busy editing I hardly had time for training. Guess I'll have to do that now, even though its 2 AM LOL!

    good luck
