I should have tried one while I was there. We went for soba though. I think I've now come to the conclusion that absolutely everywhere in Japan is famous for its soba.

I seldom find food I don't enjoy and have yet to find something I couldn't finish within reason. I also had the okunomiaki from Hiroshima that will be in the last of the my 3 vids from Hiroshima.
