  • My god , what a rousing presentation . Thanks Stefan

  • i would pay that much for a lawn permanently on fire, would be awesome

  • @fishslappr Never thought of that . From that point of view you could make money out of the situation . Thus giving credence to the statement about "making lemonade out of lemons".

  • I'm all the way in the Libertarian and Atheist camps. The ant-statist/anarchist point of view is totally new to me. I find it so disgusting that it hadn't occured to me yet, honestly. It's funny how much headspace I've wasted in verbal slapfights with self-proclaimed Liberals and Conservatives and debating metaphysics and epistemology with smug Xtians... thanks for bringing this to the light. Looking forward to reading your books. cheers

  • I love his analogies!

  • @omniscientjessep Me to , they're good teaching tools :)

  • Good video Stef....love the fantasy of the 20th century comment. 250 million massacred in the name of law, order, justice, and freedom.

Unfortunately, the 21st century will be the century of soft killing operations. They don't need to use guns anymore, they're poisoning the food, water, and air.

  • what about concrete?....fuck mowing lawns....

  • (Acts 8:20: 21) But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

So the states law "starts" between two pillars that Solomon set up which represent "strength" and "establishment".

And the "estsblished" church (the great harlot) draws its "strength" outside the body of Christ that you killed (in your head), right?

  • @imakewarwiththebeast enoough with the prosilytizing .

  • @fabianstraregy I don't make proselites. It's the LAW SYSTEM that does. It allows a non profit status for "their" established (so called) churches/government brainwash centers. Why do these (so called) church leaders set up voting booths in their WHORE HOUSES? Huh? & why do these bastards say that the powers that be/God's elect are elected by voters? The established church works for scumbags like George Bush & also Obama (who sells abortions for a whores wages). Do you "like" to feed pigs?

  • @imakewarwiththebeast I agreethat their are indeed some gov't boot licking churches out there . And the "monsewer" jeremiah wright was so far left AND racist that he has established his own new catagory for fcuked-upness .

  • this made me laugh. you must have been in a good moon.

  • @dieyoung Is that the best you got a'hole :)

  • Great job stef. That was such a powerful message~

  • Another positive message from Stefbot. ;)

  • Powerful stuff. Excellent video.

  • wth... ..

  • **News Flash**

Obama sells America to Saudi Arabia enslaving all Americans to the Shiek until all remaining debt payed. Enforcement of new said laws are now at discretion of Saudi government. Have a nice day.

  • The tax cattles were always the collateral for the debt the government is contracting.

  • Bada bing, bada boom, your lawn is screwed! :P

  • If they dismiss it out of hand? Sure. If they reserve judgment until they see figures adjusted appropriately? Then you've got to give them credit. Skepticism is a good thing, afterall.

  • @stefbot No it was pinhead logic from the get-go .

  • @fabianstraregy refering to the "cunt digestible format" statement.

  • @Nphyx No they won't because the public at large has a short attention span and you would no that if you would look . For example you always, always, always hear people saying "I DON'T DISCUSS POLITICS or RELIGION".Of course they don't want to have disourse with such, because they'd have to pay attention, get a cursory understanding of various disciplines so that informed judgements could be made. You're one of the ones that's like that ."cnut-digestible format".fcuk off already you perverted fcuk :)

  • @fabianstraregy you've drawn an awful lot of conclusions about me from a stale post on youtube :) Either your powers of deduction are phenomenal or you're barking up the wrong tree. I'll leave you to figure out which.

  • @Nphyx No your "cnut-digestible" statement merited a decent rejoinder to shit on for using the female slur that you chose .It's your business how you talk to people but don't whine when people respond in kind . You talk like a fcuking lib and you may indeed be one . I can't tell but if I knew for sure , then you'd be fair game :) Want some ?

  • @fabianstraregy wait what? I thought it was the liberals who were supposed to be all politically correct and hypersensitive about perceived misogyny ;) If you don't mind saying, what's with the dyslexic profanity? @.@

  • @Nphyx "Dyslexic profanity",nice choice of words :) I twist the spelling in my 'cuss' words to show some restraint because you never know when someones kids might be"listening",so to speak. Now as far as the 'cunt' word goes,if you will, that most definitely is an unwaranted and hateful-towards-women slur.Being respectful and being politically correct are not the same thing.Political correctness is MINDLESS CONFORMITY,whereas being respectful is merely granting DIGNITY if they are deserving of it.

  • @fabianstraregy My point of view is that we call people "dicks" all the time and I've never heard anyone complain that this is a "misandronous slur". I feel that putting female genitalia "off limits" is a paternalistic double-standard. Now you may argue that gee, maybe we shouldn't be calling people names based on body parts in the first place, and there's some merit to that. But in the meanwhile what's good for the gander is good for the goose as far as I'm concerned. :)

  • @Nphyx Instead of getting at the truth I think you like the semantics game . what ever floats yer' pal . And you really are impressed with your vocabulary . And I now know that you are a lib too :) want to play asshole :)?

  • @fabianstraregy I read a lot of books when I was a kid, what can I say. I'm not sure what the "real issue" here is - I thought it was the legitimacy of the word "cunt" as an insult? Which, I admit, is a pretty silly thing to argue about. The real issue if I remember the video correctly was the presentation of the facts, not my choice of words; but it's been so long I'm not sure I can remember exactly why or how I would have changed them.

  • @fabianstraregy As to what my political affiliation is, as an anarchist I am apolitical so it's sort of an invalid question, but I wouldn't use the word "liberal" in any sense except "classical liberal". But even that would be inaccurate since classical liberals didn't have access to austrian economic theory (having not been invented yet) or many other ideas I embrace. And really, why so quick to label people?

  • @Nphyx: Cunts digest? Maybe I should rethink my heterosexuality for safety's sake.

  • @andyissemicool haha :) I hate to revise history but I halfway want to remove this (obviously) ill-advised comment so people will quit replying to it already.

  • Tell you what, that is one crappy contractor.

After the fire part, I think I would have been done

  • Yeah...but do you still support the state? I think that's the whole point of the metaphor stef was trying to make.

  • @RogueSwordThesco Dude I would have learned some gardening and figured it out my self . People would really be suprised at what they could accomplish if they really put their INTENTION into what they wanted to do .

  • Being a software engineer, it is like a graph of a software project gone terribly wrong. Just one more bug, just another bug, one more bug...

There's better ways to do things... *dreams of a happier world*

well done stef, love your work

  • @Vid

I enjoyed this, and liked the humor in it as well as the passion.

  • Can you plz only use statistics that use numbers adjusted for inflation. I appreciate that you point the ones out that are not, but why use them at all? it is deceiving to some.

  • Can someone tell me how libertarianism helps poor people? And how it protects people from violent people?

Feel free to send me a pm.

  • Inflation hits the poor the hardest. Ending inflation will help the poor.

Liscensing and zoning laws increase the cost of entry into business, especially thwarting entrepenurial opportunities for the poor. An end to thse will increase entrepenurial and wealth building opportunities for the poor.

Traditional programs like minimum wage, rent control, and urban planning are plaugues upon the poor.

  • As for protection, taking personal responsibility, purchasing and learning how to use a firearm works the best. Adding Locks lights in alarms to your home is also an effective detterent

Also as an article titled "The Benefits of Privatized Crime Control" details both security firms operated for profit and mutual aid organizations such as a neighborhood watch are also effective.

  • Agreed, the police is completely incompetent in regards to protecting people. They always arrive AFTER the crime has been committed so the only one who can protect you is you.

Just too bad that most people (me included) live in countries where the police i actively lowering your safety by arresting anyone who is armed. I would feel 100 times more safe if the police was abolished.

  • When gun control is in place it removes guns from good people. The only reason for gun control is to control good people. The criminals will always have guns because they don't care about the law.

  • As someone who has experienced the failure of gun control first hand, I can only agree 100 %

  • I'm sorry to hear about that. It's a tragedy that so many people believe that gun control is a positive thing. Perhaps if more good people were armed there would be less violence in this country.

  • "Perhaps if more good people were armed there would be less violence in this country."

That's like saying "perhaps if a magical unicorn would heal us for free then poor people could get it too easily".

  • Well, at least it taught me to take self-defence seriously :)

Over here you can't even carry a pocket knife (mandatory minimum 1 week i prison and min. 1 year for firearms) and the police is more busy searching people for weapons than solving real crimes. The crime statistics show a drastic increase in violence. Perhaps that is why statistics also show a drastic loss in trust in the police.

Sad thing that you have to break the law just to survive.

  • Not only that, gun ownership, or even concealed carry in itself is not a crime. If I walk down a public street with a concealced Uzi uder my jacket who's right's am I violating? *crickets chirping*

  • Lower taxes help everyone but especially the poor people because they are already living on low salaries without the government taking their share.

  • Non existent taxes are even better.

  • Can you tell me how statism does these things? Because guess what, there are plenty of poor people right now.

  • And even more than there were before the state started trying to solve these things.

  • I don't think that story is a parable. It sounds vaguely like what must have happened to Stef's lawn before the first BBQ.

  • The communists actually said that they would take our property. But now we face an enemy that tells us it's our friend.

You're a brilliant light in the darkness of statism, Stefan. :)

  • Brilliant!

  • I think officially it is called 'sunk cost bias'

  • I appreciate the emotion in this and the "you are money" video.

  • u r great!

  • Thanks for making such an informative video, 5 stars!

  • Clearly there is a correlation between the rising temperatures and federal spending, so government spending creates global warming! Must be all the smugs smelling their own farts ... (yes, I did watch that South Park episode ;).

  • Amen

  • I use the term "ass-clown" all the time...awesome vid man. I look forward to passing this on to several friends...

  • "The person you spent the money to", WAS Satan! LOL...nice analogy though.

  • Preach it Brother Stef!

  • I love it. Did I detect a wee bit more anger than previous Vlogs? We need to get mad!

  • much appreciated

    many thanks

  • bingo, bango, bongo... hilarious.. :)

  • "straight to the lap of satan!"

  • brilliant as usual

  • spending graph...interesting...The Fed was established in 1913...hmmm

  • Thank you.

  • hey steph, are you a mosquitos fan? if so, why dont you ever mention irving???

  • Have some landscaping problems recenlty there Stef?

  • bingo, bango, bongo!!! haha. classic.

  • and da global warming..and evils!!

    lol

  • Amazing! I love your passion for freedom Stef!

  • I do love me some grass :)

  • Stef, you're still the Man. Keep it up!

  • most of them are in for buying drugs that the govt runs

  • The gov runs? What are you talking about?

  • that's just a total distortion, clearly you have no idea

  • Reply to ocelot814:

    What's to stop the murderers?

    What about self defense?

Or a free market police system. Who says that the only way to run the police is through the government?

  • Free market police? You can't be serious. You want to privatize to police force. A profit motive police force are you completely ignorant. Have you seen how these private prisons are run they are basically slave labor. That's what the free market brings.

Rules and regulations aids in curtailing the negative effects of a totally free market. Or should we allow the sex trade just because it's a billion dollar industry and in demand?

  • Who pays the prisons to keep their prisoners? Oh, right the state. Billion dollar no-bid contracts.

    watch?v=xWWOb7Pzems

    watch?v=jGvhk0nNk5Y

If you think that the mercantilist/fascistic/corporatist chimera economy we have now is "free market" then please educate yourself.

Regulations are often sought after by rent seeking corporations, to secure their market oligopoly/hegemony. Regulation needs only 3rd parties, not state

    watch?v=9P73R6kJnaw

Why ban consensual exchange of services(sex)?

  • cont

    Free market=/=for profit only

But even so, for profit police would have a direct incentive to provide a good service, unlike now, where they get your money regardless of how abusive/incompetent they are. Don't even bring up "well reforms, and voter initiatives, and electing sheriffs,"

If for-profit police are abusive they won't get hired.

"hates the state so much move away ... your stateless society"

Love it or leave it fallacy. I can uproot my life, leave my family, friends, job and go somewhere else if I don't like the rules made by a system I never agreed to. Oh, joy.

None of the systems the state controls cannot be handled better by free competition. If ppl want a stateless society why not let them have one? Why does it matter where it is?: cascading secession

    Watch:

  • "None of the systems the state controls cannot be handled better by free competition."

Fine purchase an island with your anarchic friends a start your society. If it works people will emulate when it doesn't we civilized people will laugh as you eat each other.

  • Thank you for completely ignoring my critique of the love it or leave it fallacy, and using it again.

Why should I or anyone have to leave to implement new systems? The state doesn't "own" the land, otherwise I and others wouldn't own it. They own us though, and dictate what we cannot do. Why can't we experiment, compete and have a plurality of solutions to problems in society? Why must we move elsewhere to Antarctica to try new systems of governance? Like I said before cascading secession.

  • Like I said your the one crying and hypocritically using state functions. It would be like me saying I hate meat while eating a steak. Your a hypocrite.

The state doesn't own the land the state make sure contracts aren't corrupted or anarchist like yourself don't try to shoot me and take my stuff because you don't believe in law and order.

And as for being dictate too. Where do you live North Korea? What dictation?

  • I'm a hypocrite for using things that my extorted money-taxes-paid for?

"don't believe in law and order" Please put more words in my mouth, it makes my all tingly knowing you have to straw man me rather than address my views.

    Arbitration requires only 3rd parties.

In the US I do not own my body, as the state forbids me to sell it, or use certain intoxicants. I must send them the products of my labor or be jailed/killed. I cannot own property, but rent it(property tax).

  • By the way the majority of your arguments are trite and banal used again and again, and anarchists have provided answers again an again.

    Hypocrisy:

  • Again I have no interest in your cult videos. Look at you you can't even form your own opinions in this discussion we are having. It's sad to see brains with potential wasted on cultist nonsense.

  • I stated my opinions several times. BUt since you can't be bothered to read:

    taxes are extortion.

The state is a coercive monopoly

Voluntary societies are the best solutions

Voluntarism will produce a plurality of competing solutions, I ascribe to mainly market based solutions, but collectivization is workable is some instances.

  • cont

If you have no interest in understanding your opponent, then this isn't an argument. Ad hominems, ad nauseam, will full ignorance, straw men, an argument does not make. You are masturbating your ego, w/o challenging your views.

I'm not trying to proselytize you. I'm providing resources. For brevity's sake I'm citing arguments that don't fit in 500 character comment boxes. Make your own decisions.

    Links in description:

    watch?v=3zQ9PfP8TTY

  • I understand you completely and have conclude you are a cult. Doesn't matter though since you are a hypocrite and when tax time comes we all know what your going to do. We all know you'll call the police when in trouble, and you will obey traffic laws.

    Run along hypocrite.

  • Amazing. Look class, a crass moron in it's natural habitat: an internet forum.

It completely ignores arguments already made, and believes it's most trite arguments are original and no other human has ever thought of, or addressed them. It requires ad hominems to boost it's ego when participating in faux-discussions. It take pride in straw manning and ignorance of opposition. It attempts to make it's opponents seem weak by asserting they won't do something that will get them killed. Fascinating.

  • And still more, when a disagreeing opponent calls out his fallacies and adolescent behavior, and request he learn the views of his side, snide remarks from the internet tough guy are the result. He doesn't need to learn the views of cults. What an incredibly thick headed creature. And when being deprived with resources to present differing views and from which he may draw his own conclusions, they are denounced "propaganda." An the oppositions requests resources/citations they are ignored.

  • When given a polite assertion of opponents views, ad hominems to ad nauseam, proud ignorance, condescending tone, are reciprocated.

Indeed the crass moron is amongst the most sly creatures as it poses as an individual with the ability and willingness to argue and then makes it's opponents feel foolish for falling for a troll.

This creature feeds on negative attention and is theorized to have evolved from the result of inmendhams and thunderfoot's copulating shit.

  • Consent? You think the majority of people involved in the sex trade are there due to consent? We are talking children and people kidnapped just to make up for the demand. Are you stupid or something?

You free market includes this as well as contract killing, distribution of deadly narcotics, and other harmful exchanges. Regulations and force aids in suppressing this of course if the state is run well which for the most part it is.

But whatever enjoy your cult. Drink enough kool-aid.

  • Again: "Why ban consensual exchange of services(sex)?"

If you're against slavery, be against slavery. I'd like to see the sources for your assertions.

"contract killing" no it does not. This actively harms a third party. It's murder, simply bc there is an exchange does not make it a legitimate transaction. But please put more words in my mouth.

"deadly narcotics" God forbid we allow ppl to put what the please in their bodies. The drug war is a subsidy of crime.

  • Legitimate? We are talking free market no rules no regulation no license nothing but good old fashion bartering which includes ALL the harsh events. That's what you advocate but you don't see that because your a cultist.

  • Free market=/=no regulation, no law, no linecsure

Free market is merely a term to describe emergent human interaction.

Don't tell me what I advocate. If I advocated contract killing, I'd advocate it. If you won't listen to the opposition, don't try to debunk their views.

See my comment to your response to mihaiguy below.

Lovely ad homs. I adore how you make the assertion that I am in a "cult." Cult's views are static, unchanging, and have charismatic, infallible leaders. Anarchists have several schools of thought, and I have been through a few-before that many political views-and take ideas from many more. Anarchists are constantly fighting amongst themselves, just check out fr33agents

  • Pintsize--

I admire the fact that you went on for so long against "a crass moron in it's natural habitat", lol.

This is the problem we face, the populace has had their brains scrubbed clean by the school system. Statists cannot argue against the facts because they would have to concede their system doesn't work. So, in light of that, they dismiss anything different as trivial or cultist or whatever.

  • I'm personally not an anarchist, I believe that SOME government is good. The problem is limiting that government, as we see here in the US it continues to grow because people become complacent and allow their freedom and liberty to be stolen from them. I don't believe that a majority of Americans even truly know what liberty is anymore, they don't realize it's been taken.

"Those who would give up liberty for security, deserve neither and lose both"

    --Benjamin Franklin

  • I'm not against government, but coercive states; voluntary govts with unlimited individual secession would tie state services directly to what ppl want by allowing the ppl to take their wallets elsewhere. And I don't believe that agorism can achieve this, but helping our fellow men evolve intellectually by removing the veil the state pulled over their eyes when they were young. Unfortunately I'm still educating this moron:

    comment_servlet?all_comments&v=OK8tJrlBfZA

    Taking a few minutes....

  • ...every other day to potentially change a mind is worth it to me.

Also, if I understand your problem with comments, under videos is a drop down bar for text comments which is by default open. Next to it in blue is "options" and you can select to show "all comments."

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers

  • @viehe69 statism isn't the only "government" that could possibly exist or work.

  • And you do?

  • Clearly you've never ever questioned what's been told to you from day one.

If you want to see what Stef's proposed solution for violent crime is, take a look at his book Practical Anarchy, available for free on freedomainradio . com. Don't just call his video stupid without even understanding his position.

  • It's true, there are a lot of very smart and circumspect people who suddenly throw all of that out the window when it comes to politics.

If you don't want to learn just a little bit about the position you're attacking, that's fine. But in that case please don't attack it.

  • "And no I have no interest in joining a cult thank you."

    Translation:

I have no interest in challenging my views, but am certain they are correct. I have no interest in understanding my oppositions views because I know they are wrong because they disagree with a foundation for my views. I am anti-intellectual

*PS - Ocelot you put words in anarchists mouths, so I thought I'd do the same. ;)

  • What is your point? He is against statism and once again proves its failures. He never said he wanted complete anarchy.

If you want to call something or someone stupid, you should at least use proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.

  • You want me to use proper grammar? I shall for your edification. Not completely sure how grammar itself can trump an argument.

  • But you did not challenge his argument. You made a false presumption that he is a complete anarchist and wanted to shut down all of the prisons. Nowhere in the above video does he state that.

The United States of America was not founded as a statist regime, but has become one over time.

Making arguments with proper grammar helps your cause because any dimwit can say things like "yo, he suckz! dat dum n00b don't want not govurnmunt!" It gives credibility and makes for worthwhile discussion.

  • Cont

I think he wants you to address Molyneux's position and make an argument against it.

Again: Why should I have to leave to implement news systems?

  • "I can't go to sleep, there's still a guy on the internet who is wrong!"

There are plenty of people out there on whom your time is not wasted; my advice, I humbly submit: don't make the mistake so many made before you - instead seek those people out and leave the cunts to rot in their own prisons. : )

One thought I have here: is it hypocrisy, when you are robbed at gunpoint, to try to retrieve your property through any means possible? Using roads, etc. voluntarily is reclamation.
