@rocketdog987 Not in the very Beginning he wasn't..They were originally a 3 piece cover band,Tucker, moose and Nicky Crandle..Covering Greenday/Silverchair songs etc...Padge joined a year or so later
@p3rs0n42 Yeah..we were all in College doing Diploma in Performing arts in Bridgend..This usually meant we came in to college smoke cigs and drank coffee,Took the piss out of Jeff Vines the course leader(Jeff is part of the reason for the Original Band Name..Long story!!)Before going into town in the evening and getting pissed up in Astons or Bowlers...Aaah those were the days!..i even played Guitar in JKJ for a period,So did Gavin Burroughs..who is now playing bass for funeral for a friend..
@p3rs0n42 they spent a good 5 years playing shithole venues as Jeffkilledjohn..I remember the gigs i did with them..Coopers in Cardiff,Tj's Newport..some place in Hereford..and of course lots of places in Bridgend..I still see Padge from time to time In Tesco usually..bump into him while shopping..i still talk to Matt via Email and messenger when he can be arsed to reply..
@insertpie My mate went to school with them. Is it true Matt used to have really long blonde hair and didn't come out when it was raining in case his hair went curly?
@WarlockAshlii it wasnt really blond..kind of an ash blond, almost grey...with white and purple highlights it was long though, longer than it is now..im not sure about the rain thing,i'd lol if that was true,i never heard that to be honest
@insertpie lol I knew the thing about Crandle quiting because he didn't think Bullet wouldn't get anywhere was true and he swapped places with Jay from Nuke...But I'm still not sure if Jay can play very well. From what I've seen and heard he seems to follow the guitar. Slowly
@p3rs0n42 before bands start writing anywhere near good material they need to be rolling for a good few years as musicians. ive found in my band alone that ive improved so much from my first song to the last over just the past 2 years alone. now if bullet did just pop out with their current songs from a few months of writing thatd be phenomenal.
god if the quality was better this song would be kick ass

this was done in 1997 in a crappy studio on Cardiff..it cost £100 to record 4 songs..
They did this, bouncyshit a song you will NEVER hear called "Feelings"...(that was acoustic mostly)
This was never released with Dont walk away originally..it was a cheap college demo..
They were a 3 piece band then...Just,Matt,moose and Nicky Crandle..
Matts guitars sound awful..coz his main distortion sound then was a Boss Metalzone distortion pedal...at the time we thought it was great.good times!

@insertpie That is actually seriously cool! haha
Didn't realise that the lads did as much as they did pre-bullet, seeing as how early on JKJ and bullet took off and how young they all were!
You still crack on with any of them much, anymore?
