Or you can get the crumble, pretty much the waste product of the cookie itself, on the market with some warm syrup on top.

Or just pop it in the microwave or on a plate on the heater/oven/anything warm basically for a little while.

Good tutorial though, not even a lot of Dutch people know how to properly appreciate the stroopwafel. :)

"here's the hardest part: you have to wait." Ha, no joke. I've eaten about 125 stroopwafles since I discovered them two years ago (would have eaten more had I known where to buy them in the US...and now I know where to get them) and have never never had one with a hot beverage pretty much for that reason :) I need to give it a try soon.
