For my design studio, this building is my precedent study. This video has helped me better understand this space and its layout for the creation of a study model
@alvaroignc When I try out dev_water2, it always seems to have an ugly greenish fog which you seem to have avoided here somehow. Am I using the wrong texture or otherwise missing something?
Yeah, if you want to create a hard falloff quick and easy, you'll need 2 bulbs on top of each other for the effect, and an additional one in the opposite direction to light the ceiling. I guess you could get a similar result with 2 bulbs, messing around with their falloff curves, but i found out the 3 "lights per bulb" is the best method for the intended effect.

How do you do the blue lights above the pool? Is it a simple blue block with a spotlight on it? I'd appreciate it if you could show me.

@NoginLogin Just make a spotlight pointing upwards, to the roof.

@Yitohr May have solved this myself, actually. That's what I get for designing a spa with a lap pool : /

Are those Light_spot entities?
kkaayynniinnee 1 year ago
yes, three of them per light bulb.
alvaroignc 1 year ago
@alvaroignc Why do you require 3? Does it make a difference?

Though, youve got to give the architect credit for designing those amazing spaces.
