I like Jame McAvoy as an actor, but the movie was about the terrible DICTATOR AMIN and his craze rule over Uganda. It isn't suppose to be a movie about some hearttrob. James was great in his role because he knew he had to be a backdrop to the main story. I like James McAvoy because he cares more about the charecters he plays than his fame. He is a true actor.

I personally think his character was probably more challenging, but Nicholas was supposed to be kind of vain and arrogant.. but also likable so that the audience can sympathize. While Adim was difficult too but so powerful and explosive that the audience was bound to notice that.
