I like the video, I love Appys! but SOME of these horses are so obviously Quarter horses with the spotted gene from cross-breeding. Appaloosas just aren't built like that. Shame because I really dont like the quarter horse looks but love the coat patterns.

When i got my appy Nugget everybody kept saying "magen appy's are high strung and nuggets young that horse is gonna hurt you" but the first time i got on him he was an angel and he still is to this day and he has the most beautfuil coloring he is colored just like the one at :11

most of today's "appaloosas" are simply thoroughbreds,quarter horses and arabians with spots on their butt, and the fucking breeders of these "poser" appaloosas trick the public into thinking they are real appaloosas.

Breeders like this have actually diluted the breed so much from it's original foundation, that now it's rare to find apps with pure or mostly pure blood.

Most of the so called "Appaloosas" today are actually a very diluted breed than what the nez perce tribe once rode. Many are not aware that modern apps look NOTHING like the real appaloosas of 150 years ago. But all is not lost,for there are still some breeders who believe in only breeding apps to apps and not crossbreeding them.

I rode a QH/Appy gelding and he was the sweetest, most trustworthy horse. If ever I fell off, he would come over to me, nuzzle me, and look very apologetic. They are by far my favourite breed (along with QH's and Friesians). They also have the prettiest coats on them!
