reading the first few comments it sounds like cancer is a major problem with rotts my uncle lost his a few year ago to bone cancer in her left front leg the cancer caused her leg to double in size i miss her so much her name was pony cuz when she was a pup she was running across the porch and it sounded like a pony running and she had such a personality please tell me though is cancer a major problem in rotts

@LockedOnFlock puppies bite and this is normal.. you need to teach them bite inhibition... Which is very easy but most importantly when training a puppy its consistency, patience, and love... Just remember reinforce the behavior you want ie reward the behavior you want!..

@red4900st honestly neither of them.. These breeds need an experienced owner along with a firm understanding of training. A good rottie breeder or rescue wouldn't sell/adopt you a pup/dog...

They must be trained and need a good leader... Along with tons of time and a forever commitment.

@red4900st woooahhh neither one!! both are very challenging to train, and are listed on the "agressive breed list" for a reason. i am definitely not saying they are aggressive but they are susceptible to becoming dominant over their owners. definitely get a more laid back breed. bull terriers and rottweilers are great but are smart and strong willed, and sometimes even conniving. i recommend you read some of cesar millans books before you get a dog haha
