Rove is entitled to his own "OPINION" and is allowed to seek "OPINIONS" as to why he should not follow the law, however the RULE OF LAW does not operate on "OPINIONS" but rather the letter OF the law.

I can get hire some "Joe Slacker Lawyer" to write an "OPINION" that I can disregard "X" law, but does that make it legal then, for me, to break the law just because some people hold the "OPINION" that I can when it suits me?

I can understand Gonzalez, Ashcroft,Rumsfield, and Cheney could go to jail, but how can Rove go to jail? What did Rove REALLY do? Don't get me wrong,this guy is a total slimeball, but he made no policy. He made no FINAL decisions. He was merely a glorified consultant.

He was instrumental in the illegal firing of Federal Judges for political partison reasons.

The problem with Rove's speech here is he is delivering it as if George W. Bush is President of the United States. Barack Obama is the sitting President so he is the only one who can assert executive priviledge, not the former president.
