MJ actually stated in an interview when his son Prince was born that his songs on his upcoming album (Invincible) were inspired by his son & im sure Paris too, that explains why he wrote so many love ballads on that album hes also said that children r the inspiration 4 most of his music & this song wasnt written by MJ it was written by R. Kelly,& Butterfies was written by some1 else too & he co-wrote all those songs there were othrer ppl involved 2 he didnt start writing that stuff till post LMP

I have the album, yes...but never made a direct connection, and when you try, timing is wrong - others wrote a lot of the lyrics and the fact that he has always written and sang various love songs, as in happy or sad, etc....and never gave a personal hint, about this album being directed toward anyone in particular...I just don't want to assume too much, as he is singing all kinds of love songs since he was a kid. Anyway, that voice...everything-miss him & this is making me emotional. I'll stop.

Yea, thought of that back then, as DR had just broken his heart by marrying Arne Naess & this song hits the charts less than a year later. DR & a few others were possible candidates for the duo song, but MJ said it wasn't a good idea to duo with DR at the time-whatever was really going on. was in Taraborelli's book. Also, MJ quotes: DR was his first love: Took him a "hell of a long time to get over her" & other things about her. Then inclues her in will. But who really knows?

In his book he explains his close relationship to Diana and how he had a crush on her early on in his life. He had such a innocent and childlike honesty about him. I do know for a fact that She's Out of My Life" is a song written by musical artist Tom Bahler. He wrote the song about Karen Carpenter, who broke up with Bahler after discovering he had fathered a child with another woman. THATS A FACT.

Oh, and Butterlies is supposed to be his favourite on the album...I prefer his voice singing it, than the woman's who actually wrote it...then again, his voice is beautiful.

2 – have anyone else involved with a song that is straight from his heart, anyway.

Michael only wrote a few solo songs on the album & 2 were dedicated to kids & also *missing kids. The album was actually dedicated to a 15 year old Afro-Norwegian boy, Benjamin Hermansen who was stabbed to death by a group of neo-Nazis in Oslo, Norway, 2001 & also to MJ’s grandmother.

Research it!

Great video, loved it. Their love was so real, just too many outside forces. And Lisa truly wanted to help him, but he was as she said "he was an incredibly dynamic force". She has said he was amazing & how lucky she was to have the many years they shared together. She also said that the hardest thing she had to do was WALK AWAY. So this song is definitely about her (Lisa). She said, "our marriage was NOT a sham" & I loved him very much. Straight from her lips to all those doubters. R.I.P MJ.
