I'm all for veganism or whatever you want to eat but to me it seems kind of contradictory to be against animal consumption to avoid their suffering and at the same time spend your whole live training to demolish other people in a ring.

May be I'm wrong but that's my perception. And I would like to add that I've practised karate for more than 10 years but never with the intention of beating someone else. In fact, for the time being I never had to use these skills.

Eating meat or seafood and dairy is kind of dangerous in our polluted society. Being vegetarian isnt as safe from disease as being vegan.

All natural athletes, many other top notch ones, look up some factory farm videos too, my father had heart disease and nearly died, had horrible triple bypass surgery despite being toned and fit.
