@chaskyto what do you mean with the asiatic guy and what's wrong with him. They are brothers and from Indonesia. If you mean the moving of the head I think he's just wiggling that's all. The name of the right guy is Ruud, the left one is Riem. Their familyname is de Wolf (The Wolf). Ruud died 2000 and Riem is still performing. He's 68 years old now and still going strong. Kind regards from The Netherlands.
These guys couldn't look any happier to be singing, the man on the right is really doing the head mojo and the one on the left looks like an Asian Jean Claude Van Dam. Smooth sounds from the talented young lads from Indo.
@motorcitymiguel They are originally from Indionesia, but lived in Holland. One of them Ruud de Wolf
the one on the right, died in the year 2000 becouse he had a bad hart. His brother Riem is still alive and performing. He age is 68. All the best from Holland.
These singers sound cute, although I would like to drastically revamp the lyrics.
zB. "Wo ist die Zeit verblieben, wo wir uns innigst liebten." und zich andere reizvolle Zeilen reimen sich so huebsch zum Klang dieser schlichten aber fabelhaften Melodie.
Wow, those WWII 'stereotype' cartoons werent so far off after seeing these two. I think some beavers somewhere are saying 'HOLY SHIT! Look at those teeth!'
Sukiyaki is actually a Japanese entree popular in American cuisine and the song was only named that because people in the USA couldn't say or pronounce "Ue wo muite arukou" which is translated "I shall walk looking up".
Kyu Sakamoto's version of this song is the only one that makes sense, and I don't even speak Japanese.
I find Babelfish useful in translating songs from German to English.
With the Suki Suki Sukiyaki in Naga Nagasaki There I saw it and forgot all Frau' n of the earth Because it was beautifully, inexpressibly beautiful That I will only dream about it To the Suki Suki Sukiyaki in Naga Nagasaki She loaded me into her house, there in the bloom garden And as I went, carried her the ring And wanted to always wait for me Say to me, Tamiko, the love remains besteh' n? ....
@Caymanonslaught - LOL Why is that? Oder sollte ich lieber in meiner Muttersprache schreiben? Ich mag vielleict ein Idiot sein, aber du bist so Dumm wie Kuhscheisse. To translate, not so literally... Would it be better to write in my native tongue? I may be an idiot, but you are as dumb as cow dung.
@reigetje And there is the war again, a typical Dutch toppic, next you will accuse Imca Mariana for glorifying the Spanish with Viva Espania, drag the eighty year war out wile you're at it.
@mnoordeloos To be honest, I sung that song myself when the game was lost using the words We zijn geen wereldkampioen. Eviva Espagna. Daar valt geen flikker aan te doen. Eviva Espagna.
