Brazilians or not latino's No. Hispanics share the Spanish language and a similar culture after having been colonized by spain. Brazil was colonized by Portugal. Portugal is not spain.

Although they both could technically claim to be "latins" as the two language languages are based on the latin language. But they are not the same cultures. And yes, most brazilian people are mixed with black and a lot of different nationalities

believe me ppl dont waste your time i saw all the videos and the most you can get out of this is a good laugh. i have never seen her ridiculous moves anywhere whether its pro or beginners. i saw another girl on youtube who is way better and actually knows what she is doing. for people to say that this crappy dance is tolerable because its for beginners is an insults to them. there is no reason to learn it the wrong way from the beginning just because you dont know better.

Brazilian samba can have some tap noise ( theer's no music so I wanted to have some sort of BEAT and the taping of my Flamenco shoes would help the "two left foot ppl" to follow the rhythm and be able to learn it faster

Hi Solemio. You have to just ignore the haters. I like this woman. Her footwork is not the same as I learned, but she does try very hard to help people. I love the way she breaks down the hip movement, because she explains it well for those who do not already know. I think she is very nice and I appreciate her videos here on youtube. But the true Brasilians will of course always be the native americans. However in sayin that I do also have Cuba blood and Puerto Rican.

as a CARIOCA originally from Rio I know that in the Brazilian Carnaval I can wear what ever I want because that's how we do in Rio de Janeiro, so if I was dressed as a COOKIE MONSTER to teach my classes it would be too hot BUT totally appropriated. So.. the FLAMENCO shoes are a No big deal to demonstrate the rhythm that some percussion will have in the BRAZILIAN samba step.

It is not ridiculous that these moves would be in the blood... it's genetic indeed! Music is in the blood, everything is in the blood. You either have rhythm or a sense for it or you don't!
