Alright. I have heard enough of heath getting lost in his role here is most most likely happened: 1.Heath ledger played the joker and got really into the part
2.He said that he suffered from insomnia from playing the joker. Which had to do with the chracter
3.He figured that he needed to take more sleeping pills because of how little sleep he got (considering the fac that actors take sleeping pills anyway).
4.He turned out to have taken to many because he really needed sleep and he died.

The real life and qualities are shed by Katie and most of all romance believability between her and Bale. Funny Katie and Eckhart were also great in some comedy they did before TDK. Katie also was the real moral conscience.
yea i felt unfortunately she didnt look the part (being rather plane looking) but she did a way better job and more importantly was holding her own with all the other actors who did superb jobs.

Before anyone puts down Maggie's acting talents watch The Secretary and Sherry Baby first.
Cause I believe you can't put her talent down after seeing the powerhouse performances she gave in those films.

Maggie always acts slutty in all her movies. Do you notice Rachel is flirty in TDK? Its because Maggie acts like that all the time.She ruined Dawes and if you're a note note actress you're no good. I like Rachel a lot and if she returns which is unlikely I want Holmes back.

And I don't know why all of you people are saying all of these awful things about Maggie. She's a wonderful actor, and she's absolutely gorgeous. The lighting and makeup in TDK just didn't do her much justice.
Even her small role in Donnie Darko with her brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, she was superb. I pray for some sort of paradox in the next movie... I can't live without Rachel in the movie, she just needs to be there.

I didn't mind Katie too much. I "believed" the relationship angle more from her than Maggie.....In DK, I remember thinking how damn tired Maggie looked through the entire film.
Awesome film score though. And same to HL.

She was the bad addition in TDK. She made Katie like an Oscar winner.Katie was beautiful and brought romance credibility and chemistry which is what superhero love interest job is supposed to be.

I see why Nolan created Rachel Dawes after Katie. I also see real connection and tenderness between Bale's Bruce and Batman and Katie.That was lost in TDK. Maggie was a fluke. Katie would have been perfect in TDK because she and Aaron were amazing together in Jason Reitman's Thank you Smoking.

Really nice interviews Chuck has,and i completely agree whit Maggie,it's a total missunderstanding to say he got "lost" in Jokerland,quoting Aaron Eckhart,he was just experiencing this incredible moment of creativity and freedom whit that role,he couldn't do wrong,not every actor has that chance and i think that's why they might have missunderstood heath.

Pres.Wilson of Razzie said they nominated Tom for War of the Worlds,Katie for Batman and Kidman for Bewitched altogether so their show can get ratings and publicity. The trio never won. Do you see something fishy the trio got nods because the media would love to see the former spouses and now the new wife of Cruise reunited. Katie also got the nod as Best Actress In BB in Scifi award. Many Oscar winners got Razzies and brilliant directors like Coppola,Spielberg and Kubrick.

As that saying goes "nothing beats the original". Katie is Rachel Dawes and MG isnt.You wont laugh seeing Bruce and Harvey loving and fighting over her. Bale and Holmes onscreen are equal footing and their chemistry real and palpable.

The real life and qualities are shed by Katie and most of all romance believability between her and Bale. Funny Katie and Eckhart were also great in some comedy they did before TDK. Katie also was the real moral conscience.
