Cool video. I saw the Kingdom's Crossing layout at the newton abbot exhibition layout a few weeks ago at forde hall social club. It is a lovely layout. I will certainly be going to the open days this year. last time I went they had a fantastic large 00 gauge layout, but it had no scenics at all. I am hoping it will be finished by now. I did attend the club for a couple of weeks, but it was quite intimidating. All these old men just battered me with questions about why are the youth today so bad!
I felt a bit 'unwanted' there, so I just didn't go. Most were vrey friendly, but some just looked at me and then some through questions at me. I just dont feel it was right for me.
If you see someone come in all tired and red with a helmet in their hands its me! I will come over and say Hi!
The 00 layout certainly had a lovely look to it and they had some great rolling stock. They had whole sets of carriages, like 8 pullmans! Lovely stuff!
And it will be good to meet the man behind all these great videos! It would be apprecciated if you could forward my comments, but please could you do it as someone annoymynous, I dont want to get involved. Hahaha! I'll look for the man with cameras in his hands!
