I cam out 25 minutes after my mom and that guy that works at applebees had sex..I was the size of a chicken mcnugget and weghed in at 5 grams (all white meat of course) and was soon shipped to a local Mcdonalds....Someone found me in their 10peice and lol-ed They threw me away a mexican man found me, lol-ed then threw me out again a chicken found me a raised me a chick....5 years later i made one hell of a ten peice......Cuz i ended up works at mcdonalds of course!.

I gave birth to my twin boys at 26 wks. They were so small 1 & 2 lbs. They were some fighters and continue to fight. One of my twins went into respiratory failure shortly after his 1st birthday. He fought with all his might and made it through. You would be so suprised how much will they have to go on. They are now 2 1/2 yrs and healthy chunky babies. God bless all our children they are our future.

My oldest daughter was only 1 lb 8 oz. She was in the NICU for 3 months. She had cerebral palsy from being born so early. She passed away three years ago at the age of 10. I love her and miss her so much. This is something that no parent should have to go through. It is so hard, but we love them so much. All we want is for our babies to be healthy and happy. They are so worth fighting for. For all the parents who have premature babies, just keep your heads up and pray. Be strong for them.

I am 15 now, I had surgery and I now have a scar that goes almost all the way across my stomach. I have more scars on my body from it, two on my neck, I use to always get asked what they are from, one teacher even asked if I had my neck pierced. I'm glad I'm alive to this day. I had a set of twins at 35 weeks. One of my boys had to stay in the hospital in the NICU for almost a month. They are now about to turn 1 August 26th 2010 and are happy and healthy!!! So thank you so much to all of the staff in the NICU at Carle Hospital in Champaign Illinois!!!! Especially to Kris!!!!
My son was born at 34 wks & weighed 3 lb 12 oz......luckily we knew he would be coming soon (I had preeclampsia) so the dr gave me steroid shots to mature his lungs...They worked wonderfully!!! He never even went on a ventilator! He was on a feeding tube for a few days because he didnt know how to suck & swallow yet, but at just 1 week old he was able to come home!!! =) He just turned 1 year old & is in the 53rd percentile for wt & the 90th percentile for ht. Cant believe a year has gone bye!

My first one my daughter was born at 31 weeks and 6days and weighed only 2lbs 6 ounces and my 2 second one my son was born at 34 weeks and 5 days and he weighed 3 lbs 8 ounces. This touches me and I understand it and been there twice. They are 4 and 6 years old now and I am grate they are still here and are so healthy. My water broke at 19 weeks, when I was pregnant with my youngest son. I continued along on bedrest for 9 weeks. 6 weeks in the hospital. Steroids were given to me to help his lungs mature as much as possible. They watched his weight, with ultrasounds once a week. I dealt with contractions for 1 week, until I had an infection and he was born by c-section. At 28 weeks, weighing 2 lbs 12 oz. My lil man is still on o2, but is getting better everyday. this is an amazing video i have had 2 prem babies 1 was 2lb 11oz shes 2 now and is a happy healthy lil girl and i have jus had another little girl who was 2lb 9oz shes still in scbu but shes a fighter shel get there in the end and hopefully ill have her home with me in a few months

I can't believe I used to be so small. I'm now around 5 foot 6 inches.
Wow.
Though, I must say thank you to all of the nurses and doctors that took care of me while I was in the special care baby unit. Thank you! :-)

@soccergurlz1213 Yeah it is. I remember when I was 4 my dads best friend had his first daughter. Both of them were born only about a pound each. Now both are healthier, not to mention much taller, than me! :)

I was born 2 months premature and weighed 2 pounds 15 ounces. Watching this makes me cry. My parent knew they were going to have me premature. I am 15 now, I had surgery and I now have a scar that goes almost all the way across my stomach. I have more scars on my body from it, two on my neck, I use to always get asked what they are from, one teacher even asked if I had my neck pierced. I'm glad I'm alive to this day. I want to help premature babies, because I know what it's like. <3

@KristinAnne24 Oh my god!! I dont know how to say this but... i have the EXACT same problem!! I was also 2 month premature, im 15 now, i have a scar down my stomach and was in surgery all my life!! I will be willing to help you with thisv:) Save, help and protect premature babies :)

@KristinAnne24 I also was several months premature. I was 3lbs 2oz at birth. My weight droped to 1 lb the first week. My father told me he was afraid to give me any love because he thought they might lose me. that was 44 years ago this coming Friday. My husband was also a preemie.He had a twin that died a few days after they were born. He is now 54. We both give to march of dimes regularly.

I had a set of twins at 35 weeks. One of my boys had to stay in the hospital in the NICU for almost a month. They are now about to turn 1 August 26th 2010 and are happy and healthy!!! So thank you so much to all of the staff in the NICU at Carle Hospital in Champaign Illinois!!!! Especially to Kris!!!!

My son was born at 34 wks & weighed 3 lb 12 oz......luckily we knew he would be coming soon (I had preeclampsia) so the dr gave me steroid shots to mature his lungs...They worked wonderfully!!! He never even went on a ventilator! He was on a feeding tube for a few days because he didnt know how to suck & swallow yet, but at just 1 week old he was able to come home!!! =) He just turned 1 year old & is in the 53rd percentile for wt & the 90th percentile for ht. Cant believe a year has gone bye!

Love the video and the song. I had 2 premature babies. My first one my daughter was born at 31 weeks and 6days and weighed only 2lbs 6 ounces and my 2 second one my son was born at 34 weeks and 5 days and he weighed 3 lbs 8 ounces. This touches me and I understand it and been there twice. They are 4 and 6 years old now and I am grate they are still here and are so healthy. It is sad that some don't make it and my heart goes out to them.

yes! that was unbelievable! Looking at it compared to a real baby! And how hooked up it was!! 0:21-0:24 killed me. They were bpth premature but one was so much smaller than the other!! All these photos are unbelievable! At 1:40-1:46 that little baby was as big as a pen!! All of these are so sad and it breaks my heart so much!1 :'(

My water broke at 19 weeks, when I was pregnant with my youngest son. I continued along on bedrest for 9 weeks. 6 weeks in the hospital. Steroids were given to me to help his lungs mature as much as possible. They watched his weight, with ultrasounds once a week. I dealt with contractions for 1 week, until I had an infection and he was born by c-section. At 28 weeks, weighing 2 lbs 12 oz. My lil man is still on o2, but is getting better everyday. He will be off o2 soon. Nice Video, thanks.
