  • The composer is Magnus Fiennes.

  • The real name of this song is "Na Wzgórzach Mandżurii" ( sorry, i only know a polish title) and it was composed by a russian composer - Ilja Szatrow in 1907.

Beautiful music - i love this version from the movie !

  • Love the story, love the movie, love the music, love every single piece of it....

  • what is the real name of the song? who is the composer?

  • @utilizator333 It's russian song (valse) by Ilia Shatrov "On Mountaines of Manchuria" ("На сопках Маньджурии") about russian-japones war. It's very fanny to hear this song in novel of Pushkin for russians. Sorry for my english.

  • @utilizator333 I'm sorry I really don't know,I extracted the music from the end of the film and then produced this vedio....

    Na sopkah Manchjurii (1905)

  • @utilizator333

It's а famous Russian waltz "At hills of Manchzhuria".

type "Na sopkah Manchzhurii" to find this song at youtube

It was composed in 1906 by Ilya Shatrov. It was devoted to the russian soldiers - victims of Russo–Japanese War. It is so very strange to see this waltz in Onegin!!!

This movie is known in Russia for a very special soundtrack ) Tatyana's "folk" song is as a matter of fact a song from soviet movie "Kubanskie kazaki"

  • @utilizator333 This Valse is called "On the Manchurian Hills", written by Ilya Shatrov & is dedicated to the Russo-Japanese War & a tragic& courageous death & resistance of Russian battalion, surrounded by Japanese warriors, in which only 7musicians(including Shatrov ) survived. They performed some music in order to maintain the spirit of the combatants.

try to find - Д.Хворостовский - На сопках Манчжурии

    Sorry for my English

  • Just beautiful...song and movie

  • Шикарный фильм!!!!!! Отличная музыка!

  • magnificent song !!!

  • magnificent song !

  • THE BEST MOVIE WITH THE BEST ACTOR

  • Ralph Fiennes is lord voldemort. did you know this??

  • gosh how i love that movie!

whenever i watch it i run around with the picture of liv tyler in my head for at least a week!

such a beautiful performance! how can someone portrait that kind of beauty, innosence and deepest sorrow in one charakter so perfectly?!

  • One of my favourite movies.

  • If Tatyana was as stunning as Liv Tyler is, then Onegin must be awarded the prize for the greatest fool that ever appeared in the history of romance. But then again, he knew that himself.

  • He wasn not a fool, he just didn't know himself well enough to know what he really wanted. And when he realised that it was already too late.

  • Au contraire mon ami, you are mistaken (It was meant in the context of Liv Tyler's celestial beauty and not as a comment on Onegins intelligence). Onegin should be credited with having found out the futility of life in midst of hypocricy of everyone else. The problem is , the unlikeliness for us others to meet our own Tatyanas during our life times, a beauty powerful enough to bring us back to life, alas.

  • I love how Fiennes looks through the eye-glass. Makes me wanna be him.

  • amazing movie, amazing song...

  • OOOH I JUST LOVE THIS MOVIE, AND THE SONG. Does anyone here know where I can download this song? please please please....

  • where can i find this song?

  • I intercepted it from the movies, not from soundtrack....

  • "На сопках Маньчжурии" (Na sopkah Manchjurii or On the Hills of Manchjuria) and "Дунайские волны" (Dunayskie Volny or Waves of the danube)

Both out of place in this film as written much later than E.O. events, the first being a Russian patriotic song from 1905. But excruciatingly beautiful.

  • @SystemofadownSD Write to me personal message if you still haven't got this melody.
