Accutane Diary 1 Month 3

My acne makes me feel so disgusting. I had it bad before accutane. I'm on day 63 (or something like that). I have periods still where I love the progress my skin is making and then periods where I start squeezing blackheads and cause inflammation all over again. It's hard for me to keep my hands off. I'm getting a little scared cuz I only have like 6 weeks left of accutane and I still hate my skin.. fingers are crossed. And I'm sitting on my hands.

@cisinlondonuk Hey man. My routine still is pretty much the same. I use cetaphil once in the morning, in the afternoon, and when i go to bed. I put cetaphil moisturizer on after each wash also. However my face has started to break out a bit again so I have been trying to find new causes of that. (I think i'm allergic to gluten, so have been trying gluten free and has been working well for past half week cleared up alot)

hey man how much does it cost to go to the derm and the actual meds it self cuz i looked at a coule of offices in my area and none of them seem to accept my insurance :( i guess im going to have to pay out tof my own pocket

hey! uhm. im not sure how much the visit itself costs.. because my parents have insurance and only have to pay 20 dollars each visit. But i remember seeing on my first pack of pills that it was ~250$ish for each month supply.. again we only have to pay 20$ However it could be different.. it just depends where you live.

The trick is to use lip balm very often. I have been on Clavaris for almost 4 months now, and now I'm lazy about using the lip balm and my lips are too dry. So I'm back with applying it a few times a a day, and that's helped loads. Good luck to you, keep making videos, it's a big help to us out here! :)

every when does your derma got you for a blood test? is it every month or 3 months? thanks

I have had to get one every time ive went in, but he said for my next one I did not have to get one. So i guess just for the first 3 months.

After you met with your dermatologist about accutane how long did it take for you to get the medication?

It was the first thing he prescribed,

i got it about 3 days later. wasnt a long process.

He just took the blood the same day i went in..

and just had to confirm that i was able to take it.
