they float. They're relatively easy to build once you figure out what you're doing and fairly cheap. The only thing is, you try it on a large bay like San Diego and you may get too much breeze and chop to be comfortable

it's not really that bad I live in florida and was in two feet chop but if you keep your bow to the waves, she handles pretty nice.

try san diego bay with the idiot jet-skiers ruining your day. The thing is, usually you just have to be careful. but if you forget, some idiot will remind you that consideration isn't something they feel obligated to do.
