A couple of years back my brother and I went to Las Vegas and took a lot of pictures. I made a slide show from the pics and used this theme as the background music for the pics we took of The Bellagio.
This nice version of "Until September" is from the album "Moviola II: Action and Adventure". Composed and Conducted by John Berry. Performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, released in 1995.
John left our world and now we've lost you. How sad! How many more amazing masterpieces both if you could have given us. How many more amazing words we could have read! Will miss you always so much my dearest and unique friend! Thank you for everything. You will always live in my heart.
Love always,
Nadia
Love this video so much. Love all your videos so much. Love your beautiful heart and your beautiful way of living and being so kind to us all.
A beautiful soul reflecting in a beautiful presentation!! Emotional traveling from your heart all the way to ours!!.. You made our world so much more wonderful our dearest friend!! Thank you so much Terry.. wherever you are!!...
"This is one of the most beautiful Romantic movies I have ever seen . John Barry is the Man...The music is BreathTaking. I have this on DVD and saw it Years ago. I make a habit of watching it at least twice a year...Winter and Summer. " less
That is so cool of you and much appreciated! Thank you so much. By the way, there is a saying in our CD booklet that says: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Charles and I agree... Take care.
I absolutely LOVE your saying. As someone who has been truly on the point of death 3 times in 46 years, I wholeheartedly agree. I've had more than 3 lifetimes' worth of breath-takingly beautiful moments! Many have even come by way of people in this room! (And I hope for more!)
Another saying someone gave me this week was about learning to relax and let things happen as they must: "Let go of the paddle. They float."
How's that for a non-sequitur?! LOL. They relate only in their appeal
I, too, have let go of things. In fact, I just told my sister the other night that I feel like a crispy fall leaf floating on top of the water down a crystal clear stream. Yes, paddles do float and by the grace of God we go. :)
Thank you so much, Marie-Alix. This is one of the beautiful film scores of John Barry, whose luscious
string sections would definitely appeal to a violinist like you. His "You Only Live Twice" rendition for orchestra is sumptuous in the way that Percy Faith scored "Baubles, Bangles, and Beads." Dreamy!
John Barry did film music incl OUT OF AFRICA,
DANCES WITH WOLVES, BODY HEAT, MIDNIGHT COWBOY, BORN FREE, SOMEWHERE IN TIME, CHAPLIN, MOVIOLA, KING KONG, and too many to even do justice!
Ah, Perla! I'm so happy that you discovered my little video and that you, too, found it soothing. I think the orchestra musicians must have been in a mellow mood after performing this piece. I can't imagine a conductor raising his voice with commands for such a velvet song!
Oh, Paul, you can't imagine how short the quality would have been if I had composed it! My only musical composition to date was a piano tune
from 35 years ago which would scarcely pass
muster as a cellular ring tone by today's standards!
This beauty is by the venerable John Barry, whose
film scores rank among the music world's most poignant and romantic. (Out of Africa, Somewhere in Time, et al) I've enjoyed discovering your own gorgeous neoBaroque compositions, and thank you
That would be so wonderful to see that. My brother was very proud to be a native American. I wish I could send you video of his Grave House. It was built with such love by Tink and all of Max's family. A final goodbye just the way he wanted it. Love,~J
My Dear Juanita! The woman who put the spice of Skype in my life! How cool that you are now on YT!

Something, this is filled with your feelings. There are so many informations in there.
Although this is not high techinique so much, the condensed sensitivities are overwhelming. On the other hand I was not tired at all.
How long did the time take to make this video? I suppose you took so long preparing.
Honestly I had anticipated your work is some thoughtful, but that didn't turn out the way. You are a sensitivist rather than thoughtful critic.
