Something that close to town I would suspect was done by some very young riders, def. NOT something that IMBA and related responsible MTB orgs would do, condone or allow. Don't blame all of us for what some bored teenagers without anywhere else to ride did....
Hey, I've got an idea.. help build a *properly designed* ride center close to town that these kids can get to on their own when Mom & Dad can't give them a ride 50k into the country.
IMBA has amazing resources for builders.

It is about time someone shows the environmental damage done by mountain biking, especially during the rains and inclement weather. Thanks for this! Mountain bikers really do not care about what they do, as long as their ride is"sick". We have had many vernal pools filled in by dirt and rocks inside a temperate rain forest.
