Is there RCA jacks in the back of the stock radio? I want to hook mine up because I have stock navi and I heard if I changed the head unit the navi would no longer work so i opted to just connect my iPod to the radio if there are RCA jacks inthe back. Please lemme know!
@ItaLyZPlaYa1 No rca input unfortunately. I used the pa15-nis check it out. It sits between your cd changer and interfaces with the head unit that way. So if you want to listen to your ipod, you hit the cd button on the head unit and if you want to listen to a cd you hit the cd button again. It's a bit pricey but works really well. You also have the ability to control you music from the head unit controls OR the ipad itself which is nice.
@tonman23 wow yeh i never saw this comment haha but the guy got it installed on the stock bose system. i guess its a pac adapter but i dont have the aux cable so maybe the guy was just cheap or the place didnt have the one you got.
did you install the latest os for the ipad yet? if so did it fix the problem? ive heard the new update just tells stereos that its an ipod or something like that

@MrTimgrattidge at the time there were no systems available so i used velcro! i'm sure there are a bunch of better ways to do it.

@Jr4594 FYI, the new ipad update makes the dock work flawlessly! Charges and plays through it as well as head unit controls!
