@eldoradoreefgold No, he was 20. I've worked on his Wikipedia page and did the math from his date of birth. He wasn't the youngest performer at Woodstock either - one of the members of Sha-Na-Na was.
This takes nothing away from the brilliance of his performance. He was, and remains. a talented musician - just not a prodigy.

He's still around. He went on to play with other famous bands both in studio and live performances. He got into producing acts as well. He's done and continues to do album projects of his own too. Alot of experimental drum stuff and so forth. He's got a website you can check. Michael Shrieve.
