i have this camera and i hate it. for around the same price you can get a canon HV40. and its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than JVC. the gz mg730 is overpriced.

Why do they include the countdown in the beginning of the video?

Apparently the camera is so awesome, it doesn't come with editing software.

Or it doesn't transform its owner into a professional videographer.

The MG330 specs state "680K pixels", Huh? 640x480 that's only 3 mega-pixels. So you'll get much lower quality still shots than the MG730. The 730 is FAR superior to the 330 hence the price difference. Don't be fooled by gimic's the 330 may come is more colours...so what!
