That atmosphere was brilliant and we couldn't get Kop seats so i was underneathe the scoreboard fairly close to Kop but the sound was brilliant. I think i got more bruises and man handled after that goal than at any other match.

That year we played brilliant. Beat some very good teams. We had to play a qualifier as well. Best moment of that tournament for me in terms of actually being there was Gerrards goal against Olympiakos to put us through. What a goal and moment!

Gudjohnsens shot was acculy on target but it hit carriages leg and went out but the ref didn't see it. It even says in gerrards autobiography that carragher says that to him
