  • @IIIlIIlllI thats funny cause i've always considered it to be quite soft and calm compared to a language like spanish or something

  • wish i chose german instead of french

  • every German word sounds like an order to shoot

  • 1:24 "Kannst du mir etwas über dieses Schulsystem erzählen?" - Antwort: Ja, es ist dumm, überaltert, lebensfern, einengend, beschränkt und sortiert Menschen aus. Ich finde das verachtenswert... Und ich sage das als angehender Lehrer. Traurig, traurig :-I

  • @Keytaster

    Welches der sechszehn Systeme?

  • ich liebe Deutsch

  • Ich komme aus Deutschland :)

  • @IIIlIIlllI yes we often hear, coarse and hard sound but for me it is normal :)

  • I've been studying German for this semester. It's difficult to me but oddly I want to learn it more. It's quite fascinating :)

  • Some German that speaks English please please translate how we say ''Have you send my item?'' in German! It would help me very very much! Thank you!

  • @tsakistikeopaulis I can help when you tell me what kind of item you mean ;)

  • @Wolfhetzer7 I am trying to communicate with a seller in Ebay. The item i mean is a motorcycle stand. Anyway he answered to my previous question but you can help me if you tell me how we say: ""Thank you, sorry for any mistakes but i am using Google translations to communicate with you"" Thank you very much...

  • @tsakistikeopaulis Well then: "Danke, entschuldigen sie für die Fehler aber ich verwende Google Übersetzungen um mit ihnen zu kommunizieren" I really can't recommend any Internet translations. Belive me, they are damm crappy. It was a pleasure to help you ;)

  • @Wolfhetzer7 Your help was priceless for me!!! Be well my friend!!! Thank you very very much!!!

  • @tsakistikeopaulis Every time again ;)

  • @tsakistikeopaulis I can transalate it too for you:

Danke. Tut mir Leid, falls ich Fehler mache, aber ich benutze den Google Translator um mit dir zu kommunizieren.

  • @Sylvesteria Thank you very much too!!!

  • I am looking for someone that can watch a short video [about 40 seconds]. I was at a flea market in KY, USA a few weeks ago and the lady who worked one of the booths found a old postcard in a grandfather clock. The writing is in german written in cursive. If you can read/translate cursive german and have a few minutes to watch this and let me know what it says drop me a line.

Also The opposite side has a landmark not named. Thanks in advance!

  • @lordtalon69 So where is that postcard? I´m german and I´m lonely, so beeil dich mit dem Ding sonst will ich nich mehr.

  • @lordtalon69 If you're interested, I can translate it. I'm from Germany, and can translate german into english.^^ Write me a PM, when you're interested.. ^^

  • @illomanGER

    Thanks for the offer.

    PM sent.

  • i habe alles verstanden :D!!!

  • In der 9 KLasse studiert man keine Facher

  • @Halflifefreak08 richtig, er hat sich von der falschen Übersetzung der Frage in die Irre führen lassen... to study hat die Fragende mit studieren übersetzt, anstelle von lernen.

  • not really...

  • many people told me that this language is too difficult , but I don't know i love it even if i don't know any thing about it even how to say hi, but something inside me incouraging me to think of it as an option , maybe after finishing my studies i'll try to have some courses if i had a chance , or at least i'll tray self-learning..something tells me that it is beautiful and i'll enjoy it

    c u

  • im learning german and so far its not that hard. at first its hard to pronounce because there are so many consinents and hardly and vowels, but you get used to it (the worst i can think of is schwimmst). The word order is somewhat different than english, but its another laungage, what do u expect. Its really not duper super hard. There are also some words that are excatly the same like tenis, volleyball, computer, and couch so that makes it kinda easy that way. its really fun to learn

  • @fehawia im teaching myself right now, but i want to get a teacher. of course german is difficult, but so is every other language. don't give up, nothing is impossible. if your an english speaker german won't be TOO difficult. it's not like it's chinese and it's completely tonal to where you can't learn it at an older age if you don't have a good ear.

  • Our grammar is really complicated! In English you have to put an "s" to your word when it's plural, with a few exceptions (mouse-mice, man-men) etc. But in German there are 11 standard forms: No Change: Schüler-Schüler Umlaut: Vater-Väter E: Schaf-Schafe Umlaut+e: Baum-Bäume Umlaut: Buch-Bücher N: Klammer-Klammern En: Bett-Betten Ten: Bau-Bauten Er: Bild-Bilder S: Auto-Autos Doubling of last consonant: Bündniss-Bündnisse +Exceptions: Atlas-Atlanten Also funny: Der, Die, Das ;D
  • ich bin schon ganz froh, dass Deutsch meine Muttersprache ist... Hab mir noch nie wirklich Gedanken darüber gemacht, aber wenn ich das hier so lese wird mir klar, dass es echt kompliziert sein muss!

  • du hast spass wenn du lernst?!? lucky you man! du bist geil !

  • Quiero aprender la idioma aleman!

  • Se dice "el idioma aleman"

     Aprenda a hablar español primero.

  • dejalo el sabe cuando aprender cada idioma

  • ich find's langweilig...

Aber zum lernen bestimmt gut ^^

  • @Feldiii xD

  • Sentence: Where the red fern grows.

    Wo die rote Farne wächst.

    with Ä not a. ;)

  • Wo der rote Farn wächst ;)

  • OHH I just got done studying German for 3 months lets see. EXE

Sentence: Where the red fern grows.

    Wo die rote Farn wachst.

    I think thats right...?

  • Was ist so schwer an "Der Bikini" zu verstehen?

    Der = The

  • Der is masculine. I doubt that too many men wear bikinis.

  • While living in Vienna for over seven years, I struggled to learn German and found it impossible. Its rules of grammar are absurd, including the infamous separated verb, which often means one must wait for the very last word of a horrifically long sentence before having the slightest idea of what is being said. Add this to genderisation nonsenses like "Der Bikini" and relative clause craziness and the way to go becomes clear - learn French instead! The Germans are all learning English anyway.

  • not all. and many americans are learning german too! And the grammer is a bit weirrd, but like fishermans friend:

If their too strong, your too poor.

English is a nice language, but it does not sounds the best. thats french. and its not the best for movies with orders, or bad guys, thats german. and english is just too easy.(good for us, bad for you. learn chinese man)

  • The greatest problem about German is that it doesn't want to be learnt. The various grammatical weirdnesses actually serve no useful purpose at all and appear to exist for no other reason than to make things harder than they need be. It's a language that actually wants to be awkward, so that, as with awkward individuals, people simply tire of it and eventually give up.

  • @Czerniakowska Yes, for German's it's sometimes impossible, too :\

  • Me gustaría aprender la lengua alemana. I would like to learn German.

  • he's obviously german.

    listen to the accent.

  • his father is english, his mother german

so he's halbdeutscher (half german) I guess.

  • @jankren

    You're just making yourself ridiculous.

  • so ,tellme, you are german or american?
