latincheerbear is correct. Joni is a god among female singer/songwriters for voice, lyrics and open tunings! You have a fabulous voice. You could be another Joni if you develop your own style. Try listening to Hem, a local Brooklyn band. I think you have what it takes to be wonderful at least locally. This particular recording doesn't do your vocals justice. Try some real recording equip and let us have it.

Have only recently discovered YouTube (at a later age in life ;) and am amazed at the heartfelt covers, and the individuality and brilliance some display. Listened to one of Lisa4´s earlier covers of JM songs and loved them. Now it´s nighty night from nan and fare the all well. Been sittin´in front of that blasted lap-top for hours.

typically I wouldn't advise anyone to touch the poetry of joni mitchell because messing it upi would be blasphomy, but you are amazing...its hard to speak with that kind of clarity and truthfulness when you didnt write it, only the great interepators can really do it...girl you did it!
