Geez people. Stop getting your panties tied into a knot. The dragon didn't EAT the damn jelly, tried to, but didn't. Only licked it (note the tongue). the dragon looks healthy and nothing else looks wrong with it. A little man made shit isn't going to kill or harm the thing. Oh who am I kidding, you can't reason with youtubers. :T
hes from japan! maybe theres some kind of special bearded dragon jellies over there? xD I know theres beetle jellies for beetles over there but dunno about bearded dragons though. But one thing is clear is that your BD is suffering from MBD :S You should top him up on calcium.
honestly, ive had 3 beardies, 1 from petsmart, that is 7 years old, a rescue that i think is around 4 years old, and i believe to be a german giant, all i know is she was bought at a pet expo and abused. her cagemate died from MBD, i could not save him and some thought i shouldnt have tried. but ive given my healthy dragons all kinds of things on occasion. a video eating jelly doesnt cause mouth rot, serious negligence does. im sure everyone knows that, im just saying.
plz don't buy reptiles if you want to kill them by feeding them things they shouldn't eat.... and this bearded dragon suffers from MBD, you can see it by the lack of tention in her muscles , she can't even close her lips properly...
YOU ARE A DUMBASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that poor beardie has MBD and you are feeding her fucking JELLY!!!! i have yet to see a more moronic thing in my life.......... do you really want to kill her??!?!?!?!?! bad decision... bad decision..... >:-(
pooor guy :( dude i hope ur beardie is better now, my beardie just passed away today :( he got sick and stopped eating :( its a terrible thing to deal with so please take care of ur beardie
I don't see why everyone is saying this dragon has mouth rot when it obviously doesn't, nor does it have MBD (calcium deficiency in it's diet) the first place it would be noticeable is in it's feet and legs because they would be bent. I know because my friend has a dragon he saved from someone who fed the poor girl nothing but iceberg lettuce and both her front legs are hooked. It's rather sad but she's quite happy now days and energetic
You need to learn how to look after beardies before you have them as pet's. Jelly are you having a laugh!? Please do some research on what beardies eat, it's really quite unfair that you are doing this to poor defenceless creature.
Ye it does look like it has mouth rott. but no wonder who da fuck feeds their beardie jello? I seen another vid where this 1 lady is feeding her beardie ice cream and the dragon looked sick.
actually 80% crickets and worms are for juvenilles an adults ratio shud be 60% greens such as mustard greens basically anything green n leafy(not lettuce or cabbage)and 40% proteins such as worms crickets roaches and dusted with calcium and vitamins,if u do that u will have a healthy and fast growing dragon
@knuckels17 either youre misinformed or your joking. and if youre joking youre sort of an asshole caz someone might take you seriously and feed theyre beardie a bunch of lettuce.
lettuce has no nutritional value and some kinds give beardies the runs. just avoid it.
Crickets and mealworms shouldn't be 80% of a beardie's Diet, mainly because it should be 85 to 90 percent greens. They mainly eat vegetables in the wild, so why change their diet from the wild?
Is the animal in this video still alive? I ask, because so many of them die due to improper diet, poor heating and generally owners who think they are more like guinea pigs than highly-specialized pets with subtle and specific needs.
Pet stores sell them by the dozens, but most don't make it. Sad.
a lot of the artificial crap in our foods is toxic to reptiles and birds.
cane and artificial sugars are very unhealthy for them. as are acidic fruits high in oxolic acid.
I honestly couldn't tell you if that particular jelly is dangerous or not unless i knew the ingredients but some are actually lethal to bearded dragons.
I've been breeding these lil guys for nearly 10 years so if you have one and have any questions hit me up.
@evrae205 what is mouth rot because some people have been talking about it on here. also, i feed my dragon crickets and sometimes lettuce and the food pellets that i buy from the pet store. is this good for him? and what else foodwise do you think i should feed him?
@PoisonbarbL33T There is 2 much info 2 post here. You rly need 2 goto google and look up what a proper diet is. Lettuce in general has poor nutritional value, collards, dandelion, mustard greens, squashes, and small amounts of fruits, there is a lot you CAN feed your beardie and variety is a must.
mouth rot is a bacterial infection of the gums and mouth and cna lead to severe health issues. appropriate heat levels, low humidity and cleanliness will help your beardie avoid this.
Hey could you guys help me i just got a new bearded dragon and i posted a video and would like some Advice from some people Besides my parents So yeah just watch my video Bearded Dragons
Hell, cute dragon I bourt one a couple of days ago, only he is not eating his vegtables, carrots, cabbage and lettuce I even tried a little bit of apple, anything I can do to make him eat his greens lol He is eating the crickets I gave him.
they sometimes won't eat them till their older get some tweezer like things and picnh a cricket to where his insides are popping out and set it on so chopped up veggies he will probaly accidntyl swallow the greens and soon eat greens by themselves good luck
my beardie would eat veggie for awhile either :) However, i found later that i could trick him into eating them by making them move (wiggling them with your finger or getting a dish that vibrates the food so it looks alive)
No animals should eat human food really. Beardies need a variety of insects for protein and moisture (and fun), after that they need to have vegetables (parsnip, green beans, squash, and other veggies with high nutri value) after that comes mixed leaf greens, and finally fruits as treats or for a salad topping. just feeding fruit and lettuces is not considered "feeding veggies" and they end up lacking in their diet. Adult mice = no, pinkies = once a month, but not highly recommended. ^_^ Seeya
Ive alraedy commentd on your videos before. Why are you doing this to these poor beardies?
