Snakes' brains are mostly sensory/motor cortexes, with a tiiiiny, undeveloped cerebrum. This snake isn't going to mournfully contemplate its lack of freedom in a cold, comfortless, metal cage. First of all, it's going to be treated better than that, and second of all it physically *cannot* think or feel the way we do. They have only the most basic thought processes, and zero emotional depth. Not to mention that the theoretical happiness of one snake is less important than saving countless lives.

You take an animal that is surviving well in the wild and throw it in a cage and that's just degrading the animal in a sense, as you're stripping it's freedom. No doubt, some weak and defenseless creatures would probably enjoy a safer contained environment. But a black mamba, seriously? They can defend themselves well.

Ex. If a Black mamba bites another Black mamba nothing will happen, but there could be a chance that a Rattle snake would die from a Black mamba bite.

Did you know that every type of mamba is part of the Cobra family, and that most people think that the Black mamba gets its name from its black interior skin, well thats not true cause Black mambas can have gray skin too, its really the black interior mouth.
