for the most part it does look like a viking ship with the look and all, but i think if you raised it out of the water and made it curve a little bit like the bottom of a boat, to not have it look so flat on the water, hope you found this helpful, keep making amazing things!

Pretty good, but the oars would be not right at the water line, but near the gunwale, especially with a sea going vessel. The less chance water has to get in, the better. In whaleboats (I sail and row them), the rowlocks are on the top of the rail. Very nice job with the sail, though. Oh, and the very bottom of a vessel is called the bilge.

Nicely done but unfortunately, I can't approve it. It's hard to build a viking ship in Minecraft, since the blocks are the way they are. But a real longboat, is long and thin, yours was to wide and to detailed. But you're a good builder. And if anyone asks, Im from Sweden and they teach us alot about the vikings in school, so I do know the history of the vikings.

the gold on the front looks more like a tail or so.

these ships usually had something like a dragonshead on the front and a tail on the back, or just some wood facing forward, not backwards so I would definately change that.

and for the 'bowel' of the ship, I don't think they had one, the Vikings were real men en just slept on deck. this way the ship didn't lay deep in the water and they could get closer to shore

I don't know if you know this... but that is an danish ship from 100 of 100 of 100 years ago... and not many in Denmark know how it relly looks like... just so you know it :D

As an experienced ship builder in minecraft, I can say that sails are the hardest thing to make. To make one appear flowing is extremely tricky to do using cubes lol

Approved by a Norwegian, and Norwegians know their viking ships. Only thing i would change is the gold thing, make it more massive, and less flamboyant.

The gold thing at front is probably a bit too much (as in, it extends too much). Also, stop saying that vikings are all about raping and pillaging D:. They were nice people and all, and had a lot of respect for women..

Anyway, I would probably also make the bottom of the sail extend slightly more out, instead of making it completely uniform. Just by a few blocks, so that it's not just a replica of the top :).
