The next thing a cop car pulls over by me and says "your not supposed to be on the sidewalk with that". I was only on the sidewalk from 30 seconds. I started protesting and he said Okay, Okay and kept frisking me. After he got done feeling my ass and me legs he goes back into his car and starts laughng his ass off to his partner.
He gave me back my license and said have a goodnight. I was embarassed and angry. The same thing happened about 3 years ago in Est New York Brooklyn. I was on a Bike and was going to my dads house. I cut through the park. I rode about three blocks and then hopped on the sidewalk when I got close to my dads house.

I was coming from the train station on 135th and St Nicholas and was walking up through the park from Amsterdam. A cop car was parked in the middle of park. The next thing a cop car pulls over by me and says "your not supposed to be on the sidewalk with that". I was only on the sidewalk from 30 seconds. It turns out they follwed me all the way from the park. A cop gets out of his car and starts goin through my pockets while I am still onthe bike. I started protesting and he said Okay, Okay and kept frisking me. After he got done feeling my ass and me legs he goes back into his car and starts laughng his ass off to his partner.

He gave me back my license and said have a goodnight. I was embarassed and angry. The same thing happened about 3 years ago in Est New York Brooklyn. I was on a Bike and was going to my dads house. I cut through the park. I rode about three blocks and then hopped on the sidewalk when I got close to my dads house.

Great Job posting. I live in Harlem. I am not Hispanic but I "look" hispanic enough. I was stopped in the park by City College over the summer. I was coming from the train station on 135th and St Nicholas and was walking up through the park from Amsterdam. A cop car was parked in the middle of park. I walked passes them and they stopped me and asked for my ID. I didn't do anything wrong. Then the cop started looking at me up and down trying to get a reaction from me.

If the the man who got the ticket doesn't get killed because now he stops for red lights as the law requires, it is reasonable to concludet that the cop saved his life. I was mugged and robbed by 2 black teens in Jamacia estates, and im so traumatized, I praise the police that came for me and had 3 cars drive with sirens on though neighborhooods for a half hour to try to find them. They also did scans of my stolen metrocards to see If they used it, and also attempted to track my stolen phone.

What bothers me is the amount of people who post comments taking sides with the officer in the video. 1. If he truly felt like the man on the bike was a threat, his partner would have assisted him. 2. The guy on the bike was pulled over cause he ran a stop light, bikes and cars have the same traffic rule. If the guy on the bike was frisked, he was frisk just in case he had a weapon on, because the cop couldve been stabbed or shot. He was given a ticket for not having light deflectors or helmet, cause if the guy in the bike was hit by a car,truck, bus, he couldve died. was it for a quota, maybe/maybe not. But im pretty sure ANYONE wouldve gotten a ticket for bike riding like that.
