And Fedor was an amazing fighter, but sadly ruined his own legacy. Whether you like the UFC or not, he essentially fucked himself over by not fighting in it. You can't call yourself one of the best fighters in the world and never have fought in the UFC.

Oh, and to everyone who thinks Fedor is ducking fighters and the UFC, and that DW made him "an offer he couldn't refuse" that is bullshit, it was an offer he could easily refuse because he owns a large share of M1 Global, who co promote with SF, meaning although his fight purses aren't great he gets a LOT of PPV and ticket sales money. Also the UFC makes it's fighters sign exclusive contracts, meaning Fedor couldn't compete in Sambo if he joined the UFC roster.

@bluevaines i agree that no body wants to see a boring decision but what i dont like is when people dont respect a fighter who, even if he doesnt always finish an opponent, can dominate his opponent for three or five rounds(in entertaining fashion). I dont think these new fans appreciate the skill it take to grapple. they just want to fighters throw haymakers and see who drops first.

@ryancrules623 Hey, the guy is 34 now. How many guys fight at his prime past the 35 mark? Very few if any, in fact, IMO no one should fight past his 40's. Yet Fedor was 10 years undefeated. How many people can say that went undefeated all his prime time in MMA world? Guess what, only Fedor. And even now he could wreck anyone in UFC, if they had the guts to come to strikeforce fighting him.
