Pretty cool Setup!:) My Mom has two of the regular Digital Pic Frames. I bought her one of them for Christmas a few years ago. I didn't know that there are wireless ones available now. I wonder it there are Linux Apps to do this too? I rarely use Windows these days...
@AtheistGlitch Yeah - The first time I extended a USB cord I figured it wouldnt work either. My first USB extension cord was 16 feet, and ran for 10 feet inside a 3/4 inch conduit with 3 electrical cords (2 phases and a neutral), 2 phone lines, and 1 networking cable (CAT5). My experience from my CCNA course left me to believe that only the power should work - but they all did with no lag!
Anyway, some CAT5 Shield twisted pair would be the best route for this project - but I didnt have any

You are lucky that the USB cord still works without shielded wire and at that distance. Pretty cool fix for not having a soldering iron.
