@magyarvok100 dude try this my steam acc wasn't working but i r. clicked on the property bar on the shortcut ...

click on the compability and change for all users check if the run in compability mode is on and if it is turn it off ... then the game should work :D sorry 4 my spelling :S

i had the same prob with steam when i play dawn of war 2 it lags alot yet i should be working great with full grafics does that mean i should turn off the compatibility is that causeing dawn of war 2 to not work right cause amd and thq said i meet all of the recamended requirements

I had Cinema 4d portable version running fine on Windows XP SP2, I now have Windows 7 x86 and It wont open. I ran it in compatibility mode with Xp SP 2 and 3 and itr opens for 4 seconds then closes. any help? pleasee help!

My steam started to give me error that steam is not recommended to run in compatibility mode and i should remove all steam compatibility settings for all users. first it worked fine (steam) then it crashed and when i tried to start it again it said the error. what should i do

@Aksun00b You do not need to run Steam in compatibility mode, It is fully supported for Windows 7 . ;-)

@Aksun00b thats cuz you have 'run as administrator' on a steam game or even on steam.exe

@502020100 Yea, this is because the file type you are trying to use it on is a .msi, which wont let you use compatibility mode on it, if its a .exe then your fine. But this is because its a .msi ;-)

I'm not sure what you mean, do you mean when you right click on the setup file there isnt a compatibility mode option? or compatibility mode doesnt work? please can you give me some more info and I will get back to you.

Ah dont worry! I was trying to get kotor2 to work on windows 7! i heard if i install the game in xp sp2, it would work! (which it didnt) But i couldnt locate the steup file, (i did in the end) It wouldnt work at first, god know why! but yearh cheers for gettnig back to me mate. Coincidently, if you know how to get kotor 2 working please get back to me lol!

@mrRE1D The program must of been designed for a 32-bit operating system, which means even though you are running it in compatibility mode, your windows 7 os is 64-bit, which means you cannot run it on your computer .
