Man, I just like Chaos Gate's music...

The Word Bearers were the first to succumb to chaos,they saw theseeds of heresy to every other Legion via the warrior lodges, to Typhon, to Eidolon, to Serghar Targhost and the others..and they had almost seventy thousand Astartes at the beginning of the heresy.
