i have tested my hilux with a navara chasing down a highway. at first i was so impressed with the navara with its features having a powerful engine than in it's class but now i won't believe by it anymore because navara has no much for hilux for the fact that hilux has a better gear transfer ration than than the navara.

the hilux automatic gear shifting is quicker than the automatic navara. that's the secret of the hilux. that's the fact.

in canada and usa we have tacoma it is same exept dosnt have diesel engine.nice truck but kinda expencive for that size.

WRONG!!!! tacoma is smaller hilux is bigger and taller, tacome is4 speed automatic, hilux is 5 speed manual transmition the engine is diferent tacoma has EFI 2.4 lts, 4- cl DOHC

how do you mean most powerfull. If so you are sure wrong. What about the navara 2.5L with 174 hp, 403NM. I do not think the hilux 3,0L or 2.5L will mess with this one. The 3.0L diesel from hilux is 169 hp and less torque. Nissan for performance and speed and toyota for life. This is the differance. I prefer rather the navara. The look of the navara is way better then the hilux.

@dangershark2 toyota has also a 3,0L diesel 197 hp and a 3,0L v6 200 hp. So it has performance aswell ;D
