Its funny how everyone that says the driver sucks knows absolutely nothing about what they are watching. Obviously there it too much power for the tires and suspension to handle efficiently. The tires are just spinning and the suspension is so poorly setup for the power that the car is practically uncontrollable. The driver has nothing to do with it. Lets see one of you fast and furious fanboys take this car down the track. It will end with a sharp right turn into the wall I guarantee it
Any idea on what turbo kit and or clutch this car is running. That is my dream supra setup.... I'm leaning towards a 7175 billet with an rps carbon/carbon clutch. Think it would haul like this car?
Maybe it was good that they stopped making the Supra. I Mean if we had an mkvii(7), that mk4 would not be a legend as it is now.
I mean look at the GTR Skylines. Everything was right till they produced that shitty new GTR which has nothing same as the older skylines. Same with Lexus LFA. 3 Years ago i saw the first pictures of it saying its the new Supra. Thank God its not. The LFA is a good car but only as lfa, not as Supra. Would you like a new Supra looking like an lfa, with no 2jz? I say no!
you know he wouldnt be that bad if his reaction time was a little bit quicker and he didnt redline it before take off that way he would still have power to the wheels but wouldnt be sitting there roasting all the rubber off .
Looks like he needs more tire, a new rear end and new suspension ... Right now it seems like a dangerous car on track and the driver is too proud/ballsy/stupid to let out of it...taking way too many chances on the far side of the track at high speeds.
If you slam a high hp car regardless of suspension or tires into gear (ie straight drop the clutch) you are either going to spin like fuck, stall, or break something.
He's got slicks, and he didn't get ANY wheel hop so his suspension is fine, and his tires are probably good too.
Off the line good drivers slip the clutch and reel in the power, this guy straight up slams every gear, something that just won't work. Might have a tilton or something though.
@z33twinturbo With a correct setup there is absolutely no need to have to ease into the power. The suspension is atrocious and the car is rolling and twisting the entire length of the track. The rear end sinks a good 3 inches or so everytime he lays on the gas. I wouldn't be surprised if that setup was almost entirely stock.
@z33twinturbo All the power you see compression the suspension should be directly transfered in a downward motion to the wheels. Everytime he gets on and off the gas the suspension is acting like a rubber band propelling the car upward and seriously reducing any traction he has
Whats up big U ??? I should have been there with you and the J man, But I had to work you know how Costco is LOL. Good time considering you were fighting to keep the car straight. I hope I can go with you guys next time with the Beemer.
Heres a video of my car two weeks ago with a better prepped track that day. They were having an event at countyline so it hooked well. Car went straight and smooth. Last night PBIR was terrible and so was my driving LOL bad combo!
LOL yup I'm learning how to drive. Thanks for the compliment tho. Once I get my suspension/alignment situation under control it should stay alot straighter. It's fun driving it tho. Thanks to tothfloorvideos for getting video up. I appreciate it!
that driver needs to learn how to drive better. That car is beautiful and I would hate to see it wrecked. I love the sound of the motor. It's so solid. To bad Toyota stopped making the Supra.
@jasonbadler You must be a child... That car is a good 1000+hp. It's not easy controlling a car with that much power on a skinny drag strip. That driver clearly knows what he's doing.
man, he need to get a new suspension, trd l.s.d, adcp carbon filber drive train, and tilton clutch, and some map ecu tuning.. and he'll be fine.

that's what happens if you mod only the engine on a car for POWEEEER and don't care about the rest...

Upgrade to a ECU with traction control like Pro-EFI or Motec. Pricey but worth it.
Or you can add on racelogic to help you out.
