@mapjbp . It was released on the "No place like home" LP in 1991 and then again on the "Buffalo Skinners" LP in 93 - the second version is the better one.
Even at this time, Stuart knew that Big Country were dropping off the radar.. He was astute if nothing else. I think he really didn't cope with the downturn at all..
i luv this bc song. done live is so beautiful, im 18 and i miss him so much, hope he is still imaking music in da after life, telling all those crap hyme book songs, what songs really should be like
That was a different look for Stuart. Thanks for the post. Never made big here in the States but I eagerly awaited every new album. Myself and my brother in law were the only people we knew who were into BC. They were huge in the UK. Sort of the opposite of my other favorite band of the era, The Fixx. They were big in the States but not as big in the UK. Loved them both and still do.
Remember to ask your friends how they are doin'. . . ya never know what they might do when they feel like this. . . just sayin'.

This is one of the most moving songs I have ever heard. I cried when I heard it, as I experiencing the hardness of life. GREAT GUITAR SOLO!
