i passed one on the interstate going 90mph (he was going about 80mph), then realized it could be a cop car, so i let it pass me and i got behind it, then down the road he turned on his lights to help a stranded car ha it was undercover one, bright as shit lights! that you couldent see if u passed

Actually its very very very rare to see a U.S. marshal. There are only about 12 throughout the whole of the united states. The rest are DEPUTY u.s. marshals. (There are thousands of deputy U.S. marshals). In ceremonies like this one to honour the fall of a law officer/court security officer then a marked car declaring their law-enforcement branch is protocol, but of course in the field the bad guys don't get to see the deputy u.s. marshals until its too late!

It depends on what state you are in. Code 2 is lights, no siren (like a response to a bank robbery alarm). Code 3 is light and siren response.
