They both Juninho Paulista and Juninho Pernambucano played together for 'Vasco da Gama' in 2000, winning the brazilian league that year. Vasco also had Romario and Edmundo playing together, it was a super-team, they beat Manchester United (3-1) in the 2000 FIFA Club World Championship too.
Smathmouth you are high man, the brazilian Juninho is a legend, the best free kicker and dead-ball specialist. No shit this video got 11 thousand views
What do you mean WHO IS THIS GUY this man is GOD one of the best players in the world in his prime and its not that juninho from Lyon his name is juninho paulista miles better than that juninho pernambucano
@smallmouth1983 I would not go that far, both great players, but the Lyon Juninho delivered regularly in the Champions League so that gives him the edge.
Never be anyone better - a class apart and would have walked into any team at his best! We were lucky and honoured to have him!! Could do with a few like him now!
Maybe the one player in the Prem League that was respected by every football fan. cant find a fault with him at all, showed his loyalty in returning to Boro when he could have gone to nearly any team.
this video takes me back a bit. juninho was a great player, and when the likes of him, ravanelli, emerson etc were at the club, the stadium used to fill out all the time. now it's like a ghost town, even before they were relegated. weird.
@shymenH: The fans haven't really gone, it's just the 1990's were a different decade. Nowadays, only the Big Four (and City) will get top players like the ones we got in the mid-90's. The football we played in the forthcoming seasons hasn't been as pleasing on the eye either. Nor have ticket prices. And with satellite coverage all over the place, the football market is over-saturated.
Pure. Legend.
