@popchilito prices are ok for most stuff, they don't have a mandrel bender as far as I know. What kind of work are you looking to get done, I know a lot of guys who do good work.
@stevenw022 its really not that loud unless you romp on it, driving around has a nice burble, plus its over 10 years and has almost 150K on the clock. Mostly a winter beater vehicle now.
l got one with 104,000mi, and the only thing that's gone wrong with it is the A/C went out at like 95,000mi, other than that, as long as you keep the oil changed and stay puttin supreme in it she runs like a top......and not to mention they're worth a lot less than they should be...this car, under 5 grand.
@Dempsey187 yes and no, they are maintenance whores, you take care of them, they take care of you, start getting behind and shit breaks. With that said my dad is very hard on the car in this video and it just keeps on going. Motor and transmission seem to hold up well.
I have a 99, with flowmaster super 40's, then the silencer replaced with a super 40 as well, it sounds deep and good when i romp on the gas, but at 65+ they are as quiet as the stocks... all the noise goes out the back on these cars, regaurdless of the brand of muffler, there is so much insulation, and distance from the motor, whatever you use, they will sound good... Even Thrush sound nice... and at 30 bucks a muffler... Cant go wrong..
cadillacs are awsome! remind me so much of the holden caprices we got in australia, should check out some of the caprices people do up, and the new HSV Grange, which is like a caprice but sportier, has the quietness of a caddy and a rumble just like that.

hey if i put a flowmaster on my 88 cadillac will it make that annoying sound that people with shitty cars make while their shifting gears? do you know what i mean when i say that? it's like when people with slow cars put on a new muffler to try and make their car sound like it's got more hp than it really does. that real annoying bruuuuuuuum bruuuuuum sound. anyway does a flowmaster make your car sound like that?
flowmasters give you a growl, if you have a big mototr it will sound good, the reason the slow ricers have that drone is because they have a 6 inch muffler with 1 inch piping up until the fart can muffler at the end, you wont regret flowmasters if you get them

It sounds nearly stock just driving, Cadillac gave all the Northstar car's a nice tone from the factory, this just livens it up a bit when reving.
Older people choose cars for Reliable and style..I always try to follow old people to the car lot,, if they try a car out and wouldnt buy it, i wont either LOL They seem to have a sense for quality !

i have a 94 Seville STS.I had the original mufflers replaced with a set of ProFlo chambered mufflers and man they sounded good,but i could'nt hear inside,so i replaced them with a quieter set of turbo mufflers
i had a 98 cadillac deville in that beutiful pearl white. i too placed the mufflers on mine but i had dynomax turbo mufflers installed. well i had someone else do the install for me. i spent something like $350 because the y-pipe in front of the mufflers had to be custom made because my new mufflers were shorter than the factory ones. i loved the growl of the v8! the northstar engine already had enough power to boot but i was just looking for the loud sound.
Both my father and I enjoy the sound, since he likes the ride of the caddy, and the speed, he wanted to get as close as he could to a "luxury muscle car" feel :) Problem is its wrong wheel drive for that but a great everyday driver.

yeah, I wish they had kept the RWD Fleetwood but as a smaller (DeVille) size.
Great sound, though. It purrs, but I can still tell it's an American 8.

The system is really just a muffler replacement :) The tips, mufflers and labor, came to around $400.
