Its performance is impressive. Its fuel economy is awesome! Better than any gasoline version of the Grand Cherokee. Perhaps it is a little noisy, but that's diesel for you. If you don't like it, buy a gas model. Otherwise, buy a diesel and enjoy.
The question shouldn't be why a Cherokee Jeep is featured in this video instead of the Liberty; the question should be why neither of them are allowed to sell diesels here in North America? Emissions be damned, clean diesel is possible if given a chance by US EPA. I'd be more than interested in driving either a Jeep Cherokee CRD and/or a Liberty CRD. I'm sure they're out there.
