@Ohioan4171- the music styles are different and good but I can't understand bands that change parts of the original letter like Nathareth did, all heavy voices are always very passional, but for me Roy Orbison was faithful with the copmosition and most important, he suffered two tragedies in his life, he really felt real sadness and knewed how to express it in this song. Nathareth expressed pain but Roy felt the sadness.

Keith is great in his own rigth...more reputation and historical than pure talent. Norah Jones oozes pure talent and Keith is keeping that from happening in this clip. You can tell she's trying to make the duet work, but their voices are nowhere in the same league.
@BSmothers77 -- I don't think that's really right. Keith Richards is primarily a song writer and guitarist. He's not known for his singing. However, he's one of the best guitarists out there. A supreme talent! And the rolling stones are second to no one in rock when it comes to song writing. Norah Jones is a top flight singer, so she's going to out shine Richards in that realm.
I think this song is by Nazereth. Interesting choice .
@ORagnar Yeah, Nazareth's version is the well-known hit, but it was the Everly Brothers who first brought this magnificent song into the light 15 years earlier (51 years ago). The EB rendition is also beautiful, especially for those who remember the jukebox, malt shop, hotrods & drive-in!

:-) the song is not by Nazareth, it was written by Jim Capaldi, Made very famous by Nazareth though :-) Keith Richards is an Icon in rock'n'roll but absolutely not the best guitarist "out there" (to my taste) but respect for the guy.... keep focus on the spirit of the event, the giggling comment from Rchards when Norah is about to enter the stage, (what a talent, songwriter and nice girl to gaze upon) and also and the fact that Richards actually gets away with singing this classic.

Keith is great in his own rigth...more reputation and historical than pure talent. Norah Jones oozes pure talent and Keith is keeping that from happening in this clip. You can tell she's trying to make the duet work, but their voices are nowhere in the same league.

@BSmothers77 -- I don't think that's really right. Keith Richards is primarily a song writer and guitarist. He's not known for his singing. However, he's one of the best guitarists out there. A supreme talent! And the rolling stones are second to no one in rock when it comes to song writing. Norah Jones is a top flight singer, so she's going to out shine Richards in that realm.
I think this song is by Nazereth. Interesting choice .

@ORagnar Yeah, Nazareth's version is the well-known hit, but it was the Everly Brothers who first brought this magnificent song into the light 15 years earlier (51 years ago). The EB rendition is also beautiful, especially for those who remember the jukebox, malt shop, hotrods & drive-in!
