  • an amazing song....

  • I love so much this song! <3 It is very beautiful!

  • I like quiet music, like before3:15, its very nice, calming, and introspective. But I prefer upbeat and lively music like after 3:15.

  • I have Celtic in my ansestory! I have German,Irish. I have Viking too! Swedish and Norwegian!

  • I have not heard about this group or duo until yesterday. WOW

  • great

  • I always picture the ending to be of fae madness ;)

  • awesome!

  • Is it just me who prefer the music before 3:15 ?

  • @VictorTheLegend Maybe, i like the end better

  • @VictorTheLegend

No i prefer the music before 3:15 as well, but the music after it isnt bad....I just dont think it goes with the song. Thats my opinion...

  • thank you whispercrystal

  • It's not only the two of them...:)))))

  • It goes from entertaining and calm to awesome and whipped up at 3:16

    Gorgeous music.

  • I wonder if this song is about danu

  • 3:15 o:

  • This is such a beautiful song. I love it so much. <3

  • I plan walking down the aisle at my wedding to this song. It really moves me greatly.

  • @LadyOfTheFae M'lady , nere a better choice could ye make !!! With your beau, I wish you Bon chance mon cherie! Your blacksmith in waiting.

  • This gave me chills all down my body...♥

  • I'm always amazed at what people can do with a pencil, paper, and a few instruments ♥

  • @dawningbutterfly this song was lived by Candice and Ritchie. pencil, paper and instruments yes, but from experience mostly.

  • Once you are a Blackmores Night Fan there's no going Back! Ritchie made the Right Choice and moved on from Rock but still is a Legend of Rock!

It shows in the Songs that he has found himself and loves what he is doing

  • 322 People attend Rennifaires regularly.

  • I REALY WISH THEY WOULD PLAY THE UK

  • from rock to this thats class

  • This is fantastic!!! I have just discovered them (I really love their version of "I saw three ships"), and so far, LOVE their sound. Absolutely beautiful music, and love the guitar at the end!!

  • almost to great for words

  • That last minute was just..... Majestic.

  • I have to say i am so hapy to have found this music ...it touches ones soul and makes one remember what it was to dream

  • In the rather unlikely event that I ever have a child, I'll sing this to them. Alas, however, my singing is mediocre at the very best. They'd probably prefer Candice. XD

And as amazing as this song is, I also very much agree with cloudednox on his comment about Tarja Turunen!

  • If Tarja Turunen would cover this, I'd die of happiness. (I'm not saying I don't like this version, I love it. I'm just a huge fan of Tarja.)

  • damn ritchie is so fucking good in playing the guitar grate

  • Justin Beaver < Blackmore's Night such a pretty song, no wonder Magiquest likes her!

  • i got a chill <3

  • makes me wish I lived back in the middle ages....just for the music. haha

  • WOW! That was fantastic, especially the ending*****

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever produced!

  • Whenever I listen to this song, I always go to my world imagination filled with castles and Medieval times.

  • @fabgirl9600 Same here, friend. I know it all about romanticism when it comes to that age in history; but the Medieval age just has so much more beauty, imagination, wonder and adventure than the great, big modern mess (Disney quote) the 21st century has become

  • @sadlobster1 Perhaps it's the silly dream of a child, but I (I'm 14) believe that there are many beautiful things in the world, you just have to reach for them. Sadly, while I love my friends, many of them talk so much and take little time to think about these kind of things. Actually, now that I think about it, they have told me that I shouldn't talk about it because they won't understand (not that they are trying to).

  • @Misheru100 I lost many friends because of that... but even if I loved them, I just let them go... and then I met soooo many new friends who appreciate the beauty of the world and all the lovely details... If you don't understand them or they don't understand you, you can find new friends with all what you like :)

  • @Misheru100 I understand completely what you are saying and think that it's not some silly dream. I also think that there are beautiful things in this world, whether they're real or supposedly fictional.

The problem is, some people are so wound up in their materialistic and selfish lifestyles that they can't see those things. I hope that the majority of us don't lose that spark anytime soon

  • @Misheru100 There are a lot of things in the world that most people are not aware of.... the most important thing is to never stop beliving ...and if your friends don't think about this things then you should think and belive for your friends ..and when the chance arrives show them that the world is much more than the phisical eyes can see and it surpasses anything material.

i'm 24 and i have heard, seen felt many things because i belived.

    Never stop beliving :D

  • there is not a single song from "Blackmore's night" that i dislike!

  • love this song, it's like a lullaby in the beginning before the speed up.

  • I like Blackmore's night music very much, but this piece is one of the most beautiful songs in the world ever. Hal Ritche Blackmore and his beautiful Wife, Candice Night! Greetings from Poland!!

  • blakmores night sind einfach wunderfoll ihre lieder sind so magisch das mann sich fast im land der elfen wähnt

  • the arrangement of this song reminds me of Queen for a day part 1 & 2

  • Such a beautiful and flowing song. I have enjoyed every song I have heard from Ritchie and Candice. The group comes together and you can hear the love and passion in their sound.

  • Ive never in all my years hear a group that puts out so many beautful songs ,have to hand it to Ritchie and Candice ,their songs they write or choose to do are all impeccable.I listen to most of them over and over ...absolutely no filler songs

  • Love this song. So happy to have heard this song on the Spa channel on Direct television.

They actually play a nice range of Celtic and World music on that channel.

  • exceelent, mindblowing

  • Love it. 5/5.

  • Over on the hill

    There grows a flower

    Growing quicker still

    More perfect by the hour

    Deep within that flower

    Is a tiny chair

    All a-fringed with gold

    The fairy queen sits there

  • It is in her breath

    That the wind does blow

    It is in her heart

    As pure as winter snow

    It is in her tears

    Crystal raindrops fall

    And within her years

That she is in us all

  • Oh dark eyes

    Help me see

    Just one look

    She is gone

    Look on me

    We are one

    Fading with the setting sun

  • As the willow bows

    To her majesty

    All the forest flowers

    Love her mystery

    Who would not admire

    Who could not adore

    Who does not desire

    Who wishes to see more?

  • Who doesn't adore.

  • Can you put the full lyrics?

  • Google is your friend.
